Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have been a student of science in maths where I dreamed as all science student do for the great iits but by the luck I wasn't able to clear the cutoff for the advance but I was able to get the nits but after sometime it's striks in my mind what I am doing because I was always a backbencher and my interest were never into studies. After some research I just got to know about this course BA JMC which includes all my interest as I am interested in every single element which be agency provides to us like photography video editings social awareness people interaction and stuff. There is no such areas which I can say who needs improvement cause this is my first year and as much as I have studied till now this nothing which I can degrade for my side The timing of exams almost 3 hours paper in the patterns is not as much tough as what I have expected for obviously there is no such thing that the courses easy every courses tough but yes if someone have the interest then he or she can this get the marks by just listen to the things which are teachers tell to us others looking around the world and getting everything and your mind by the basic to advance.

Internships Opportunities

5

Amar ujala Dainik Jagran Dainik Bhaskar Hindustan Times The Times of India Radio mirchi All India radio I really don't know about the exact figure for the stipend which for student get, which I have listened till now as something between 15000 to 20000 for month for an internship program

Placement Experience

5

There is a internship program in my department in the 2nd year of the course we have to get to internship over different media platforms such as radio mirchi, and several newspaper brands or such if someone want to do freelancing over there editing of photography they have provided such contacts to get into so. After this internship over in the end of the third year there is a placement program done in the college where number of companies arrive where I can take some big names like Dainik Jagran Amar ujala and much more like this. There is no such information about the package offered to the previous students or the percentage of students getting placements but yes I have listen it till now let a proximately if there are 100 students in a class of BAJMC 90 student from it will get a decent job in the rest 10 other one which would not into studies or not into the things.

Fees and Financial Aid

Are there is no such inflation in the fees of BA JMC over the two years from which I know the fee structure as some of my seniors have been started to the same course in the same college the fees Paris to rs 30000 to 35000 per semester for all the three years, and as such there is no difference between the fees structure over any kind of cast or anything but yes there are some scholarships which are college provides over Merit where we can see it's pretty easy for some cast to get this scholarship. Over getting to the expenses BAJMC is a kind of course where they are some miscellaneous expenses rather than just the course fees as being a media student we have to get some gadgets which are obviously a little bit expensive.

Campus Life

5

It is all fun till now I have experience some good fest, events and a good environment also as per now I have just visited the main library over my college which almost what every kind of book for the internet connection for the every student. A good facility and technology over the classrooms smart classrooms and over every student have got for their separate computer systems for the uses. For the sports is like a little bit in a lesser side they are very minor events over sports. There are so many clubs or the social groups such are the environmental club, the entertainment club, the green club, the placement club.

Admission

I have been applied to GB pant and University of agriculture in Pantnagar who was successfully cleared the paper for it but change the plan due to some personal reasons after that I have applied for JEE which I have cleared for the JEE mains but due to some bad luck I wasn't able to clear advance paper then my mood just get a little bit switch and then I just talk to the BAJMC course. If you talk about why I didn't choose it any other colleges for BAJMC was the level of trust I got from this college is the only thing in Lucknow there is no such college were a parent or children can trust over for courses like BJMC national PG holds the value in terms of trust over people of Lucknow. The admission process of National PG is pretty simple there some cutoff of over class 12th percentage to apply for the entrance exam of national PG College if you have cleared that cut off then you have to appear for the entrance exam of National PG College then there is a small interview session with the faculty members after you clear the entrance where the faculty judge you over the thoughts why you have choose this course.

Faculty

5

If I start with the faculty to student ratio it's been like we are a 40 students in a batch and there are on total sex teachers which are more comparatively a good thing where we can get enough time to get interacted with each and everyone. If I talk about the most light faculty of mine it will be Mr Sachin Yadav who is a teacher of journalism which is not only a teacher to us he is more over like a brother to us who not only thought about a subject but also thought about us and help us in a every way like talking about a personal problems of financial problems for any kind of problems related to our someone's relationship related to someone's family issue related to someone's studies he manages it all. There's no such teacher which I don't like much all the faculty teachers others like her elders they are just so good that are 19 or 20 year student is loving the teachers as in a age we are in we really don't like any elders to interrupt in a things but here every teacher is like sibling or a elder instructor to us with really help us to get us interacted, getting back to question this no such teacher yes there is a subject called the communication sector I pretty don't do the classes of Mrs medha ma'am, as it's like the subject is a common thing for us everyone just know how to communicate. Coming to the last questions how many exams we have as such there is like a unit test over every month and a mid semester almost before 1 and 1/2 month before the ends and then the end semester.

Night Life

4

As such there is no place to hangout in the college there is no gym over the college Jesus their library is public areas they are parks there is a hostel and for the nightlife thing a college times till 4 PM rather than this for the hangouts spots we usually go little bit outside for the college as a college is really near to the riverside.

Other Applied Colleges

College of Technology, GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Agriculture)

There's no such reason, I have successfully cleared the paper but due to some family issues I have to drop the plan to study over any other city/state

College of Technology, GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Agriculture)

There's no such reason behind this our successfully able to clear the entrance exam of GP pant University, but have drop the plan to study in any other City or state due to some family issues

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

Placement for Bajmc at dme are limited compared to some other professional courses. Students usually become eligible for placement opportunities or internships in the final year. There are not many direct placement with major media houses although students sometimes get industry exposure through sessions or visits .

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
