Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is pretty much outdated. It doesn't make you industrial ready. The curriculum lacks the technical approach for new software technologies like staad pro, sketchup and surveying instruments like total station. It would be great to see applicable curriculum for market needs. Revising is compulsory.

Placement Experience

2

Companies like Amazon, TCS, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, ACCENTURE, KEKA and few other visited the college. The placement will be around 30% of core jobs in reality, and other than that there will be a figure of 80 including non core jobs. The placement is not guaranteed hence you can opt for further academics or govt jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Mostly Tution fee depends on the course you choose and for CSE, CYBER SECURITY, ECE , IT it is about 1,75,000 with additional jntu and Library fees. For core like mechanical and civil it is 1,25,000. Scholarship is provided based on your merit from entrances. For SC, ST it is free from the conveyor if they get the admission and 35000 for OBC students.

Campus Life

1

In college your social aspect life is not great. You will be tight scheduled with classes and time for sports or curricular. It will be your own willing if you are interested. The campus is very strict and security will be always on your back watching you to not leave out of campus and requires permission if you have to.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel is a standout building and feels a bit weird for some reason. It is spacious in terms of room and beds are great. Although the food is hygienic it is barely tasty. The hostel ground is spacious and will be great for playing cricket and volleyball. It is provided with ac and it's bit expensive compared to private pgs it is around 65000 per year. You can opt for private pgs at 5000 per month.

Admission

I entered the college through state entrance exam ECET. According to my rank i was allotted the college by conveyor and i cannot go against it because I am Fully reimbursed with tution fee because of my rank. I chose other colleges but because of my rank i couldn't get admission in them. With EAMCET rank of 20000-30000 you can land in the college. And management seats are also available. Which i suggest to not opt.

Faculty

3

The faculty student ratio is around 1:20 and most faculty is friendly but not everyone. I like ratnam sir faculty of geotechnical he is good academically and easy to approach for any case. There are few other faculty who used to exhibit favouritism. There are mid exams every other month in semester and as it autonomous college the sem exams are conducted by our college and are pretty easy compared to JNTU.

Night Life

1

You will be far away from night life in campus. you are requested to leave out of the campus after 6pm and except for event days you will not be allowed to stay in campus. Although you are allowed to exercise in gym till 6 in the evening.
