Course Curriculum Overview

4

The relevance of the course in day-to-day life is really appreciable. The curriculum is designed with the context of modern requirements of industry. Marketing specialization has all the things a student needs.

Internships Opportunities

4

During my PGDM program, various companies offered internships across diverse roles, helping students gain industry exposure. Here are some examples of companies, roles, and project details: Companies and Roles 1. FMCG: Amul, HUL, Nestlé Roles: Market Research Intern, Sales Intern Stipend: ?10,000–?15,000 per month Project: Conducted market surveys to identify customer preferences and analyzed regional sales data to suggest marketing strategies. Outcome: Improved sales efficiency by recommending better product placement in target regions.

Placement Experience

4

Over 200 companies comes for placement offers in the campus of my the average package is 500000 around 45% students get placed till now placement guide with good mentoring and after degree two to three years of experience in corporate than after business.

Fees and Financial Aid

So the total fees is 5,50,000 for 2 years. College has a great infrastructure facilities, especially the canteen. Good faculty with great knowledge and helpful nature and can easily be accessed. Industrial Visit is the best thing to enjoy with friends.

Campus Life

4

Youthon is the annual festival of SASMIRA's Business School fully organised and managed by students. Sports equipment had been purchased recently. Smart boards has been used to educate about latest technology.

Admission

I didn't choose any other college because my college has dual specialization degree. Infrastructure and location is the main cause of admission in this college. Placement is also a major reason while taking admission.

Faculty

4

The 60:40 pattern is followed and papers are made and checked in college. Faculty members are well qualified wife the doctorate. The tri semester pattern is followed by the college. Extra curricular activities are the best.

Interview Experience

4

The admission process for my PGDM program was comprehensive and designed to assess candidates holistically. It started with an entrance test like CAT, XAT, or CMAT, focusing on quantitative ability, verbal reasoning, and logical aptitude. After clearing the cutoff, I was shortlisted for the next rounds: Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). GD Topics: These were often current affairs or abstract topics, such as “Impact of AI on Employment” or “Success vs. Ethics.” The focus was on communication skills, teamwork, and logical articulation. Interview Questions: The PI revolved around academic background, work experience, general awareness, and situational questions like “How would you handle conflict in a team?” or “What are your career aspirations?” To prepare, I practiced mock tests to strengthen my problem-solving speed for the entrance test. For GD and PI, I stayed updated on current affairs, refined my communication skills, and prepared crisp responses about my profile. Admission also considered academic records, work experience, and extracurricular achievements. The process was rigorous but rewarding, teaching me how to present myself effectively. My preparation involved discipline, self-awareness, and constant learning, ensuring I performed confidently in all rounds.

Night Life

4

College life is vibrant, and how students unwind after classes significantly shapes their experience. On-campus, the cafeteria is a favorite hangout spot for casual conversations and snacks, usually open till 8 PM. The library is a peaceful retreat, often accessible until 10 PM or later in some cases, for late-night study sessions. Public areas like lawns, quadrangles, and lounges provide space for group activities or relaxation, accessible until around 9 PM. The hostel adds to the charm, with common areas for games, TV, or informal discussions. Most hostels have a curfew of around 11 PM, but some offer study rooms for those who prefer burning the midnight oil. Outside the campus, students frequent local cafés, parks, or malls, such as (insert local hangout spot), which are popular for group outings. For weekend explorations, nearby landmarks or restaurants are often bustling with students. Safety is a crucial aspect, and it’s vital to know if the locality is safe for late-night wal

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
