Course Curriculum Overview
Relevance of Pharmacy in medical field is unpredictable. Because to treat a disease condition medicine support is necessary. A registered pharmacist is one who compound and dispense medicine to patient. The also participate in formulation process in pharmaceutical industries. The syllabus cover almost all area of pharmacy. One of my suggestion is to include hospital training hours.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for the bachelor of Pharmacy course (4 year) was around 6 lakhs rupees. If your admission was on entrance based with specific reservation category especially SC/ST the tution fees and hostel fees will be directly from directorate of treasury ie it will be undertaken by government. But you should have to pay your every semester exam fees and other material fees.
Campus Life
The campus was very good. Had a lot of new experience their. Meet so many kind hearted friends and teachers. The college is provided with good lab and there is equipment room also where different kind of appartus can be seen. A small plant garden is also set near the campus. The students activity group is comparatively less and but have college programs and competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is near the college campus. There are lot of hostel separately for Pharmacy, nursing and MBBS student. The mess time and menu is also different according to the course studying. Mens hostels are not provided in our college.
Admission
I got admission in our college by KEAM entrance allotment. Management seat are also provides by the college. The students who dont get admission via allotment can apply for Management seat. Mount zion pharmacy college is situated is the same campus of Mount zion medical college and nursing college. Hospital facility is available.
Faculty
The teaching and non teaching staff are good at their assigned duties and so helpful. They support us to upgrade us academically and professionally. The exams are conducted semester wisely. In total their is 8 semester exam. In each semester there is total 2 internal exam conducted in 30 marks. The overall internal assessment is done in 25 marks.
Night Life
The hostel is situated near the campus. The campus has a very large mess hall and the timing for food for each batch is different. The campus is on the surrounding of medical college so night life is bit difficult . A good cafeteria is there on hospital campus.
