Gl bajaj an academically brilliant institute.

Curriculum is well balanced accordinly. But the system of teaching every branch students same subject for the first year isnt quite relevant now. Curriculum prepares you well for real world application from your second year as thats the year your only your course based subjects are taught mostly. Exams difficulty level are moderate.

Me being in my 3rd semester i am not quite well aware of the internship oppurtunites available in the campus. I am yet to explore that region of academics in my college. But as i heard from my seniors there are internship oppurtunities for all.

From end of the 3rd or begining of the 4th year students are eligible for placements. Highest package is of 58lpa and average is around 3-4lpa. 60-70 percent students get placed through campus placement Many companies pickup students during the placement season.

Fees during my first year was 161300 and the examination fees that was paid separatley was 7500. Since i didnt opt for any hostel, mess or uniform purchase from college they are excluded from the amount. Now i am in my second year and my current fees is 151800..

Overall campus life is fun if you can manage your academics along with all the fun. Freshers are usually held in the month of november or december except that dandiya nights is also held every year and there are many ongiung functions. Being highly dense with the amount of students studying herre there are many clubs too for participation.

I directly applied for gl bajaj due to ease of travel and the academic benefits from this college. I chose gl bajaj over other colleges in that area because it provides us with better oppurtunities than the rest it have better labs and faculty and placement offer than the rest. You can either go for direct admission or you can enter through counselling process. Since i entered through direct addmision and my chosen branch being EEE i can tell you that my admission procedure was pretty smooth and quickforward.

Faculty to student relationship is good in this college if you show sincierty towards them. I liked my mechanical sir in first year mr vinay who taught and explained all the concepts of the vast syllabus of mechanical in detailed and with patience. I didnt liked any faculty in particular. Exams are held regularly during the first year thrice a semester excluding the finals following the aktu circular. And if you failed to pass any exam retest and extra classes are also scheduled for them. But the same cant be said for second year till now.

Being a day scholar i have not gotten oppurtunities to explore the night life around the college. The closest market on is jagat farm which is on a walking distance and there is also expo mart where events and exhibitions are held regularly.
