Aligarh Muslim University As I Know

The curriculum, goal, vision, syllabus etc. Are really good, infact its too good that student will not pass or comprehent everything simply. Looking at the real world application of my course, it's everywhere. The only improvement they can make is just shorten it a bit. But everything's important so I kno it ain't possible. Timing of exams and stuff are propper.

There is a department called Training and Placement Organization (TPO). They are the one who provide placements for students. Its very functional. They have provided many placements for students from around the world.some famous companies like LG are active.

For first year ut will be almost 11300? and the next year it will decrease into 6990? then after it will decrease again to almost 5000, For hostel there is no fees actually (boys). It is only if you are going to take dining you will have to pay almost 1400(varies a little bit as per the hostel you got alloted as deficit af food changes), but for girls this 1400 per month is compulsory as they get allotment to a hostel. For Btech it will be almost 23000 for 1st year and decreases as moving on, For BA, BSc courses it is same. The scholarship that i have got is PM yasashwi Egrants scholarship. But that is not one provided by AMU.

Sir syed day - October 17, Hall functions and other more like Meeladunnabi, Eid day, Ali day,... Etc. Every book you need is here, almost no exception, even news paper of 1947 August 16 is here. Class room has A/c and more (not every but there are many with a/c and there are most of important classes happens) Each sports have each clubs and eg:- Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Skating, Hokey, Cricket, Tennis, Badminton, Swimming,.... Many more, there is gym as common to university and available at some halls also. I don't know much about student run social clubs but I know there are many which is centered ath Cultural education centre.

In a room commonly there is 4 bed and 4 shelf. It varies from hostel to hostel. For each person there will be a table also. Meal quality also dependents on which hostel you are in though all of them are manageable. Registeration processes are simple but getting a room for boys is what is the problem. Some boys hostels does not provide systematic allocation in hostel. So students Will have to adjust some times. Also as mentioned before there is no fees for hostel. Rooms as pg are everywhere around here so there is no worry about them, also they are pretty affordable.

I have got admission at Delhi University (I don't remember which collage it was) But it was for the course Mathematical science, But what I want was Physics and I got it here. U have to take AMU entrance examination( for a few course CUET ) get by merit. Its pretty simple is what I felt.

There are enough faculty. I don't know the ratio but for sure number of students are more. Faculties are pretty friendly( most of them!!) I'm currently persuing Bsc as physics as major and maths as minor. So I'm a student of both faculties. In mh POV the best faculty I've had was Dr.Haider hasan jafri and if I mention another faculty that will be Dr.Arif sir. In maths dept I can mention two faculties who are very good they are Dr. Aqlad Iqbal and Dr. Gulam sir The exam structure is total 100 marks and 70 for end semester exam and 30 for internal sessional exam. Number of sessional exams and score per sessional exam will dependent on who the professor is and which department it is.

Really good, u can roam around almost 2000 acres, Library and Library canteen will be open till 2'o clock. Campus doesn't have a particular timing, and for boys hostel also doesn't have any timing schedule except for mess (dining )
