Remarks

Overall, it is a nice college for students who are only looking for placements. The only disadvantage of this college is the high fees structure.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The BCom course is divided into 6 semesters. Each semester the student has to go throw 2 internal tests, 1 unit test, and semester final exam. If a student gets any backlog in the semester then he/she has to appear next year in order to pass. This is a good process to enrich the student experience.

Placement Experience

5

Placements at Jain University is by far the best compared to other universities in Bangalore. The median package for BCom graduate stands at 3.2 lacs and it guarantees a 100% placements.

College Events

4.5

There are various events and fests organized by the Rotaract club, sports club and the student's council such as anweshna, samasti, etc. These fests help students to mingle, show their talents in fields like sports singing and dance and also drama, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very high as compared to other colleges in Bangalore. The first year fee is 125000 without the exam fees which is 1000 per semester. You can pay in two installments. The fees also include the fees of your certificate course taken by you.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship of 30000 is available for students who have above 90 percent and also there are many Scholarships regarding sports

Campus Life

4

The campus life is quite good. The cafeteria is very good in terms of food and hygiene. The gender ratio might be 2:1 and you get to see students from all over India and internationally as well. The labs are good. The college hosts various co-curricular activities as well

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network consist of top profiles from various big companies of India as well as abroad and yes they are helpful.

Admission

I got admission directly to this college because I had scored above 90 percent in my 12th boards. The cut off for direct admission waa 85 percentage during my Admissions. But now the admission process has changed. Students are required to write a JET exam in order to get into this college.

Faculty

4

The faculty members are quite good. Although most of them are very young and have less experience in teaching then they provide the best teaching to the students. They are very much supportive and friendly. The faculty comprises of graduates from top universities of India.

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.
