Parul university review by a parul student ????

The course curriculum at Parul University is relevant and moderately comprehensive, earning a 7.5/10 in my assessment. It stands out for its focus on emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Web Development, which influenced my decision to enroll. Hands-on projects, lab sessions, and certification courses like AWS enhance practical learning and job readiness. The curriculum effectively prepares students for real-world applications through capstone projects and industry-oriented electives. However, there’s limited focus on soft skills like communication and leadership, which are critical for professional success. Including more interdisciplinary subjects like UX/UI Design or Entrepreneurship and fostering industry collaboration through live projects would further improve its applicability. Teaching methods are largely traditional, though some faculty integrate modern approaches like project-based learning. Expanding mentorship programs and incorporating innovative teaching techniques, such as flipped classrooms, would significantly benefit students. Exams are conducted twice per semester, balancing midterms and end-term evaluations with quizzes and assignments. Their difficulty level is moderate, focusing on conceptual clarity and practical application. However, some subjects still lean towards rote learning. Overall, the curriculum is designed to meet industry trends but could improve in areas like research methodologies, interdisciplinary exposure, and soft skills development.

From last year students become eligible for placements and parul offers internship in campus too from first year according to job roles. I don't have idea about which companies visited Most of 5/10 may be get placements. My plan after degree is to do master's

Cultural fests are awesome here , bollywood stars and singers are there in fests like Dhoom, pu projections and many more , even halloween party is there and a pu watchers park where we can watch movies.

I got good marks in JEE but actually parul was in my home town so , i preferred this university as bus facility was also there and overall good for my scenario and other competitors were nuv and itm in my city.

Faculty are available, and like exams are conducting well but the checking is so inconsistent like whoever and whatever we write it doens't matter we get the marks average of our performance sometimes and even in same batch and class the checking was different for mid sem, the exams are some easy and some medium level

I don't have that much idea about night life but I have visited night life many times for events , the cafeteria are awesome offering all the food you may think Gym is there , libraries are there for each institutes. Hostel are closed at 9 max to ensure security and campus starts at 7 in morning. Famous places to hangout is now sanshusti and greenzy food court at m block
