- The culture of the college. The culture of the college is so chill and well suited for a college student
- The crowd. People are from every part of the country . Especially in MIT .The crowd is all the way from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
- Opportunities. There are multiple incubator for startups and other student initiatives
Dislikes
- The new stricter management. These people are taking away the manipal signature by making it strict.. Manipal is known for its culture and chillness.. which the new people are killing it
- Fees. The fees is just inflated every year by increasing in some percentage and manipal is the second expensive private college after Bits Pilani
- Nothing much else to be honest.. it's a good place for every student ... You explore and you fine out
Course Curriculum Overview
It is really good and much encouraging for research and projects. There is a scope for everyone and everything.. even if you wanna do finance or HR or marketing still the college gives you opportunity to do course on it
Internships Opportunities
Starting 6th sem you will get internship+ PPO offers from lot of companies so make use of it and don't have backlogs because you can't sit for placements or anything with active backlogs. Make sure clear all by 6th sem and 7th you can sit for all .. and 8th sem is project. So you need internship
Placement Experience
There's a lot of opportunities from ITES, Core, Finance, Marketing, consulting etc . But prepare yourself for placements .. it's more like you take responsibility for your life kind of thing . So interview prep and the aptitude test prep should be done by yourself.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is based on MET Rank and your Family Income ... Top 10 Students in the class will receive scholarship depending on their family Income. And even subject toppers will receive scholarship. And during admission there is a Some local people quota ...
Campus Life
The campus is big and greeny. They maintain it in a very good way and now they're constructing more parks and chilling points around campus aka. Makeout spots . So that as well is on for juniors now ???????????????
Admission
Manipal was my choice because of its culture and experience it provides and ofc the Placement is on par with all top private colleges .. So expect the tier 2 college level placements. College Avg of 8.5 LPA in 2024 and CS AND other branches will have much higher Avg
Faculty
Faculties are really great and everyone is so passionate about the submit and everyone is willing to help the students interms of research, projects etc . I was in mech department and it was really great with the faculty and other people . Exams - Exams are EPAD based .. so you get a IPad kind of a thing to write your exams and it's paper less exams.
Night Life
Marena is very much sufficient for every gym dude and and other facilities in the college is actually the best in the country .. food is taken by Food courts and it is leased to private vendor and they are very well maintained. Hardly heard of food poison or bad food . Once or twice in my entire College life I've heard complaints Hostel perm is 11 30 but gate perm is 10 30
