Likes
- Course: If you like learning you will love the course the way it's designed as in most of the colleges like maximum of them have the old course going on this college has kept the course updated that's the thing I loved about it.
- Also the environment the way the college has been made and it's location.
- Faculties: The faculties have a good command on the subject they are teaching even including the current developments regarding it.
Dislikes
- Attendance strictness: 75 % attendance criteria is needed to be maintained and you can submit medical only if you've atleast 60% attendance. Which results in eventual backlog
- Also the amount of assignment and presentation that are needed to submit was more than average which needs to be balanced out
- Also one lecture should be added for the games so that physical activities can be done by students on daily basis
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is solely focused on creating the practical aspects and application of learning rather then going completely theoretical. Workshops, case studies, teaching method and specially regularly updated course.
Placement Experience
From 4th semester the students become eligible for the placements. ,The companies like TCS, Infosys, Jaro education, Accenture etc. The average package here is although 350000 lpa. Although some candidates bag much higher packages but it all comes with how well you've prepared for that role. The percentage of students getting placement is almost 60-70%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees per semester: 19k approx Bus fees for a year was: 13k Caution money: was 5k Also the fees for the exam form was somewhere about 1800 which needs to be paid every semester Also their is fees associate with library which is less around 500 approx
Campus Life
The events goes all year round in the college their are many clubs which you can join which have their own specific events. Although it needs approval and sometimes interview. Also the main event that is hosted every year is Spandan which includes almost everything like games, fashion show, food, Dj night and many more. During my time we invited Ritviz for that. Their is a sports complex for the indoor activities although outdoor sports activities are mainly limited to basketball. Also their are two library one specifically for management and another i.e. main Library which includes book from every subject and genre.
Admission
I've got admission in Doon Business School too but due to location I preferred Vaishnav. The admission process at our time was via CET and also the college has started new exam which the college tales internally for admissions
Faculty
Every subject has an individual faculty. It has a good student to faculty ratio. No missed lectures by faculties. During my time Ruchi Arya mam, Namrta mam, Anupam sir, Thakur Sir, Monica mam Rishu mam. Met with excellent faculties. One faculty many students had issued with was PK Siddhey who later resigned from the college. Regarding the exams there are two mid sem exams and on end sem exams
Night Life
Being honest their is no night life as the college is situated in the outskirts of the city. The college closes at 8 PM and after that their is nothing to do near the college. If you need a little of something you need to atleast go to Aurobindo as that area remains open.
