B.com is a very flexible course for any commerce student . This particular curriculum of the College is probably not the best , because the classes are very uncertain and there's no rules and regulations for this course in the college the attendance is completely not compulsory which gives the students all the reason for not attending the college and the teacher are not very serious also However this curriculum does provide a real life exposure to the students if they want to take up finance, marketing and tax as their future working skill , the only area of improvement is the necessity of attendance and the marking scheme of CU which is extremely poor , a lot of times students fail in subjects due to I'll checking system which is a major concern. The frequency and timing of exams are very specific and the difficulty level is 3/5

The fees per semester in B.COM differs from morning to afternoon to evening batch The fees for morning batch is 42,900 rupees per sem and 34,900 rupees for evening and afternoon. The college provides a scholarship only on Gujarati quota and it also gives scholarships to students who've scored more than 90% in their 12th examination.

I would rate my overall experience a 5/10 in this college, the students led clubs often led to biasness and unfare decision which made me extremely inactive in this college , however the technology provided is brilliant and the infrastructure too This college has a wonderful library which gives you 12 months 12 hour excess apart from Sundays , the whole atmosphere of the library is a solid 9/10 The college canteen is fully vegetarian and it's a 10/10 this College has various halls where all the events are seminars are conducted with modern class rooms and an over the top sports arena with the most fancy and fun games

This college for me was completely a last min decision I was waiting for NMIMS to declare its results and I got into the Navi Mumbai campus which is better than this college any day but not as good as the NMIMS main campus with the same fee structure and I wasn't willing to spend so much money on just a grad degree Talking about the admission procedure so it's very simple the portal opens after the results of 12th standard all over India and the admission takes place on the merit basis you need an aggregate of 55% in your 12th board examination to get accepted in this college Any other college in Kolkata is better than BESC for b.com

The college provides a total of 21 courses which includes 7 courses in arts hummanities and social science 6 courses in science 3 in commerce 1 in computer applications and IT 1 in engineering and architecture Apart from these there are short span courses that the college also provides like tally , google workspace , AI etc Coming to the teachers and faculty ration it's 3:5 The exams take place under the Calcutta university the college conducts one internal the university conducts one internal and one external examination per semester

The college is based in Bhawanipur which is a very old and rich place in Kolkata and also the most happening place to be in its 10 mins from Park Street which makes it the perfect location to have a great nightlife it's safe and very cheerful all the time since Bhawanipur is 50% residential also it's a pretty decent place to be in as well , everything is available on your door step hear starting from stationary to food to clothes and it has 2 metro station which makes it's extremely travel and student friendly
