Course Curriculum Overview

2

I am at this university because of my relatives advice and I have talk to some alumini so I choose this university and the curriculum is also good , it really help many students , but it also is confusing , the reason i am saying this is because in first semester they teach python and then c , then c++ and then java , my personal advice is that i want them to ask students what they like and then teach them .

Internships Opportunities

3

Well till now I have not been in the interships , as I am still trying to get one , but as I have talk to my seniors and faculty they say that you will get the oppurtunity for sure , you need to have good skills and good marks in every semester . and if you have both these parts your chances increases and your future is going to be good , I am just waiting for my chance . Wish me best of luck .

Placement Experience

3

Well as far as i have listened placements are ok as I have talk to my seniors they say you need to have good CGPA in every semester and have some skills that make you unique, and if you can conquer both these parts your chances if getting places increases very much , average package is Rs.4,00,000/- to Rs.6,00,000/- .

Fees and Financial Aid

So if you want to know detailed fee structure you should visit there official website and mine is Rs.85000/- per semester , but now the fees has been increased to Rs.100000/- per semester, remember there is also another fees like bus fees or hostel fees and then Rs.20000/- at the starting one time payment.and if we talk about scholarships I have not heard of any in my 2 and half years at university and remember they don't even provide bus pass for government buses.

Campus Life

2

Well personally I will give 7 out of 10 to campus life , but as I am not a hosteller , I do not get to see most of it , some of my friends are and they really love the campus life , I really care less about social aspects , There are many clubs you can join when you are at university , they give you good value , some are paid and some are free but you will enjoy them.

Admission

Ok so I have applied to Chandigarh University and Thappar University , the reason I did join and not them is that first i was not selected in b.tech 2022 batch of thappar university because of low percentage , i got mechanical and the reason i did not join chandigarh university is that all the students I talk to at Chandigarh University adviced me not to join, so my only option was Chitkara. Admission process is that you need to have 75% in 12 class in PCM .

Faculty

4

The professors in this university are calm and composed. They have course materials and other helpful links and guides. The course books are available in the library so you can borrow from there instead of buying them for just a semester. Some of the professors are on contract basis from different companies and do provide better skills on industry level.

Night Life

4

Well I have seen the gym , it's good but I have never been there as it is only for hostellers and the cafeterias are good but expensive , but the vibe is good and if you love reading books you need to go see the library, you will love what they have done with the place , environment is so good. There is one thing you need to consider is that you can't leave university before 3:30 pm , you need your mentor's permission.
