Overall review of the sdmcet dharwad college

The course cirrculum is very good as they not only teach us on base of books but also on they make us industry ready and what the companies want form us the course cirrculum teachea us that and in one sem there are three internals and a semister end examination in three internal best of two are considered. One ia is of 20 marks and 20+20 40 marks if we score out if out and in remaining 10 marks 5 are given as our assignment are remaining 5 our lab marks and sem end is of 100 marks ehich is further reduced to 50 marks. That's the over all voew of the exams

Internships start as soon as you have passed the 2 year of your engineering that is 4th sem the opportunities are given by the companies which have came to the campus and if by any chance we did not get the opportunity the faculty here will guid us and we eill for sure get a internship

The placement in the college are very good actually like more then 300 companies have visited the college and more then 950 jobs have been offered to the students companies like infosys, tcs, wallmart, global tech india, accenture, visa, dell technology, intel etc and mass recruter are companies lile infosys and tcs which gove 50+ and 60+ offers respectively. And last year there where 8 students who got 64 lpa and in which four(4) students where from information science and engineering that is our department. Our department is very good and if you take information science you can get a very good job

The fee structure according to comedk is 280000 for information science and engineering and the other fees lile hosyel and mess fees is 30000 and 30000 respectively. And tution fees is 280000 and overall fees for the course of 4 years is 1200000 approximately

Campus life is good comparing with the rest of the college in this hubali dharwad and belagavi regin like there are many clubs for dancing there are three 3 to four 4 clubs and for singing there are three 3 clubs and for drama there are two 2 clubs and not only that there are many other clubs for improving our english and over coming the social anxiety or the social fear that according to me many students have and it is the main reason that many students even when they have good cgpa they fail to get a good job..

Hostel according to me is not that good i have seen better hostels then this but it all dilutes when you hear the fees that is 30000 yearly for 30000 it us very very good i say for 30000 we get a 3 person sharing room and the thing i dont like about the hostel is the hot water is not available 24 hours it is only available in morning. If yhey give us 24/7 running hot water everting will be nice

Other collegea were also good in many terms but the college i have opted and selected is average in everything like it has a good sports and many cultural activities in 1 year there are 3 main events one is freahers and two fests in that one is feasta that is conducted in odd sem and in even sem it insgnia which is biggest event held in sdmcet.

The faculty of my department that is information science and engineering is verry verrry humble and very helpfull they not only teach us but they also guide us on placement and internship.. And the exams that are conducted here are as per the vtu guidlines but our college is autonomous college and exams are very conduted very strict.. And after the exam teachers ask us where we went wrong and what are our mistakes and tell us to improve uss that particular topic.

To be true there is no nyt life after 9.30 10 because the sdcet college is very strict it like we cant hang out at nyt and there is a gym indoor stadium and pool facility but pool facility is not in the campus we have to go to sdm dental college is a bit far from here.. And gym fees is 1500 yearly in gym there are all the facilities and indoor stadium facility is alos 1500 yearly
