Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is well planned and the syllabus is well designed. For the first year, syllabus of almost Every branch is same so that students who score good can get the chance of branch upgradation. Classes are in between 9 to 5.somedays the whole day is so hectic and we are tired . When exam are closer . Teachers increase the pace in order to finish the syllabus and take online classes at holidays also ...or night. ..which make that days even more hectic.

Internships Opportunities

4

I am in first semester bot very much aware of this .but as far s I know .....in the second year there will be test from Google Uber and Adobe for intership Also if you have the skill you can get off campus internship as well ...

Placement Experience

4

College placement is one the plus points of our college they offere very good placement and all the big successful companies come to offere jobs.....if you are skilled enough then you can get a decent job.The college provide you opportunities from companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Google , Uber ,zomato, etc . You can sit in the interview for placements from third year and for the internship you can start any year . Mostly the fresh comers are not skilled so mainly in the first they learn skills...but with the second year many starts to get internships .

Fees and Financial Aid

Every yearly course fee is 144500 and if you opt for the hostel your totel would be 3 lac // year. However for the students needed financial aid, there are a lot of scholarship like pragati scholarship, korak kanya....based on merit and financial income of the family. I am not eligible for any scholarship...but my batchmates have got benefitted by many these.

Campus Life

4

The is scheduled curriculum of all the fest academic and holiday which is provided as a calendar to the students on the website in the start of every year.. Techo fest for technical workshop, the diwali fest jhilmil, tarangana fest for cultural events, ignite fest for sports event , a lot fest and different societies are set to Handle the working of each smoothly. Synergy for sports, hypnotics for dance , tarranum for song , antargana for cultural, finervesta for finance, lean in for tech , bhaav for literacy..ncc nss... A student can as many as he can manage with academic in which he is interested in ....to explore her college to the fullest.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel room are very crowded. In two seater designed rooms.... forcefully 3..4 students are accomodated. Meal is ok ok only .. sometimes good sometimes ok ok.... sometimes gross ... Non delhi residents can easily get the hostel by submitting the form that is on the website of igdtuw. The price is less as you rented a pg or room. There are facilities of refrigerator at every floor... And induction fir cooking and oven at every floor that's is best thing for me .

Admission

I would say I didn't choose it rather it choose me....based on my jee ranking I got this college. I have option of colleges in jossa but they were in eastern part of India where I was not very comfortable to go . I got civil engineering and biotechnology in dtu. The college was better but I didn't liked the branch . So I had no option left and I got this the best for me at that point ... The addmission in the college is based on the common rank list in jee main . Some reservations are also there for different categories. But the main discrimination that you can feel is the 85% of the seats are reserved for students of Delhi resident.....which is very unfair Even having ranks in lakhs a delhi student get computer science branch and a non delhi may get nothing at the same rank .

Faculty

4

The faculty is student ratio is good. The clss students are divided into 2..3 groups and Evey group is appointed different teacher for different courses and labs.. The faculties are well educated and friendly. Each classes has appointed a mentor to share any type of problem. My favourite faculty is Tina mam , teaches elements of mechanical engineering .she teaches very well ....and very supportive. Some of the teachers creates problems for attendance that someone disturbs as I am in different societies. About the exam, the midterms are quite easy , practicals are bit tricky and end term questions are moderate just the syllabus is vast when it comes to endterm . But if you go clss regularly and study atleast 1 hr daily you ll have no problem .

Night Life

2

The night life is active for the hostelers only but after 8 or max 9 we are not allowed to roam in the campus. Hostel guard checks in the timings. Library is there but not for night. If you want to study , the computer centre is open 24*7 that is the main thing fit night life . There is gym , cafeteria aand all ...but the gym is not equipped as not many girls are interested to do gym.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
