Internships Opportunities
The college offer many intership opportunities for students which helps students to get an actual life representation of Corporate world along with great stipend. The college also hosts some exhibitions on projects which helps both students and recruiter to acknowledge their understanding and learning.
Placement Experience
In Oriental College of Technology Bhopal students are eligible for placement drives from 6 semester or onwards i.e. 3rd year. There are many companies such as TCS, Wipro, Microsoft and so on who visit to college for campus placements. Around 75% students get placed. Currently I am planning for placements only so no further plans after degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Oriental College Of Technology charges different fees structure for different courses, branches and so on. I have taken admission in BTech in computer science and engineering and paid 117000 per year. This year my college didn't charge any fees for lab, bus,and so on.In CSE core branch my batchmates also paid same amount as me . For girls there are different scholarships and for OBC ,SC and ST there are state government scholarship.
Campus Life
There are many technical and cultural fests which held in our college such as Techfizz and so on in every 6 months. The college library is having huge space for studying purpose and for books and journals too, the library has all genres of books and journals. The college hosts sports and extracurricular activities every year. There are around 12-18 social groups and clubs such as Ecell, SAC and NSS which creates an great impact on students life to learn and lead new things.
Admission
I didn't applied to other college as I was eligible for Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal. I was eligible for the admission as I was having the enough marks to get admission to this college. The Oriental College of Technology Bhopal offer wide range of courses and as a true technocrat I am very interested in computer science and engineering, so I chose this college as it's very known for it's academic and placement achievements. I didn't got rejected from any college as I was eligible to get this college, so I didn't further applied in any other. The college admission process is based on Online MPDTE counseling process and JEE mains marks to get this college.
Faculty
In our college no. of teacher are so many which helps each student interact with teacher and relationship between students and teachers is good. In my opinion I like my digital system teacher whose name is Pradeep Patel sir. He is well experienced and too good. Personally there are no teachers whom I don't like but one mam is there whose way of teaching I don't like much. In one semester there are 25 unit test, 2 mid semester and final exam we give.
Night Life
At college campus there are around 3 hostels among them 2 for girls and 1 for boys hostel are established. The college hostels has gym and many other amenities along with library and a studying hall. The college is very serious and hostel and campus timings that are convienient for students. The college doesn't have any light life.
