Course Curriculum Overview
The IFA course is very well made. It is made in accordance with the ACCA syllabus that students have to pursue along the bachelor. The ACCA syllabus is very well divided into the six semesters. This makes it very easy for the students to pursue ACCA along with the bachelors. I
Internships Opportunities
The college has made it mandatory for a student to perform an internship. The college regularly posts internship opportunities in a whatsapp group. This includes many good companies like Deloitte, Goldman sachs, EY etc. They also offer a good amount of stipend.
Placement Experience
Placement record is pretty good. The criteria for a placement is to have no active backlogs. The students become eligible fir placements from the 5th semester. Many big companies have visited the college like Deloitte, EY, Accenture etc. The highest package at out college was nearly at 11 lakhs per annum. Average package would 3-6 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for a B.Com IFA student is 93000 per year. The student has to pay it in two installments. It is paid in two semesters. In first semester of the year you pay 56000 and in the second you pay 37000. There is no scholarship for the students. However if the student is in a financial situation he can get a concession for the fees.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs in our college. Almost 10-15 clubs. The college oragnizes a yearly fest called Josh which is either a 1 day or 2 day fest and is quite famous in Hyderabad. Sports is also quite a big thing our college gives a chance to all students wanting to play sports.
Admission
My college is a 1 of 2 college in Hyderabad that offers a bachelor's in international finance and accounting. This is the reason why I chose this college over other colleges. Other colleges do offer ACCA but the syllabus they offer isn't relevant to ACCA.
Faculty
The faculty members are quite qualified. The course is divided into 6 semesters. There are 2 internal examinations per semester and and external in the end. The college is autonomous which means the paper is made in the college and corrected in the college itself.
Night Life
The nightlife isn't much around our college. There are good amount of hostels around our college for students travelling in to Hyderabad for studying in our college. It is situated in a good area where there is a lot of cafes for students to go and hangout in.
