There are a lot of students who bully a lot.
The college does not have a proper attendance system

Course Curriculum Overview

This college is one of the famous colleges in Kolkata. This college has all the facilities available in the campus itself. The fact that everything is present in the campus makes it so interesting for all the students be it academics or be it co-curricular activities. Each day there is some interesting activity that takes place in the campus which helps us to deal with real world applications. Even the teaching method is good. The difficulty level of the exams is a bit tough which makes it a bit difficult for the students

Class Size: 14Course Fees: INR 34000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed fee structure of the college fees is 34000. The college offers a great deal for students who cant pay a good amount of fees and it is affordable for all the students and it is a great way to attract students.

Campus Life

Annual event is the umang where 150 colleges participate and a special bollywood singer comes to sing for the event on the last day, it happens during winters, and its the most renowned college fest of Kolkata

Admission

This college is good for people like me thats why i joined it, friendly environment and very good teachers without worrying about attendence, so i never applied for any other college hehe, hope this helps

Faculty

The faculty treats the students very well and is very approachable. It is also freindly and cooperative. The education system is also very easy and the exams are not that difficult . The relation between the students and faculty is great

Night Life

After college people go to canteen to chill out with friends, then they go to forum to watch some movie and have fun or go to cafes like chai break tyre patty pardesi rever etc etc, so its safe at night for hostel people

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
