- The staff was really cooperative, professors really helped with the academic as well as emotionally
- Jamia doesn't provide placement but they provide internship opportunities in this course
- One of my molecular biology professor when arranged a pcr workshop to show us how different technology work
Dislikes
- Canteens are not enough,there should be more
- There were 2-3 professors which I didn't like, and the worst thing is they don't even change them
- Teaching method of professor is very good there with each and every concept clearance
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually I have given different medical exam including NEET,AIIMS ,JIPMER but unfortunately I didn't makeup to them I got cleared each time but didn't score much to secure a seat in government mbbs college so I opted for this course as it is a paramedic course and they are providing students with that environment
Internships Opportunities
Our department wrote letters to different hospitals so they grant us the opportunity to work with them. I get to work with National heart Institute,AIIMS and Alshifa hospital as a laboratory intern. Where I have learnt the testing of various hematology and biochemistry testing This opportunity was given by the department itself
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid around 44000 each year for 2 semester for 3 years.There was no change in the fee structure according to the reservation College fee was same for all the students . There were many scholarships one such was Dr abul kalam scholarship in which they were offering 10000 for students who have less than 2lac per year annual income
Campus Life
Campus life is busy but the environment there is really nice. There was ragging bullying of juniors by the seniors and also the students from other courses were well mannered and friendly and really supportive if we needed anything.
Admission
Before applying for this college I applied in alfalah college also which is in faridabad. But somehow I got the ratings from my friends who had passed this course the year I got admission. So Because of this reason I opted for this course because it is a vocational course for medical laboratory science
Faculty
There were 5 teachers and one practical teacher in almost every semester. There was only one teacher her name was Maria. I don't have any problem with her she was nice but I didn't like her teaching method. She only used to read out loud the ppt. Our class mentor was really nice she was an MBBS doctor and her teaching method was really good
Night Life
Sport complex is there at the starting of Jamia campus and along with the the library facilities are really good. Their library is huge in size with adorable infrastructure. The halls and corridors of the library are well aerated and air conditioned reading hall and the timings are really convenient it opens early in the morning and closes at 9pm (The reading hall(students get to experience good quality time for learning
