An overview about SRM University Ramapuram

Actually SRM Ramapuram campus is very good for ECE department and I chose this for a good and calm environment. The syllabus is bit easy and not like other autonomous colleges and easy to score mark and get placed.

Internship companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro . Our college also provides semester abroad programs to do a semester in foreign countries.It is extra chargeable and the criteria is to maintain 90% attendance and above and 9.1 CGPA and above .

Placements practice and training starts from the 3rd year of our college life. Trained HRs are here to guide us for the placement programs. An average package will be 5LPA per student but only if he has the communication skills and coding knowledge. In an average 89% of students getting placed in very good companies like Amazon, Google,Wipro , TCS, Infosys etc.

I've opted this university mainly because of the distance which was near to my home. SRM is a leading south indian brand and has very good infrastructure and placement opportunities. This branch Ramapuram is located in the centre of the city. You'll get access to anywhere at anytime. The subjects in this college is easy compared to the 12th STD syllabus. Pressure free scenario and easy learning. Staffs will be very kind and friendly. Many clubs to improve your soft and hard skills. Pros: 1. Pressure free 2. Easy and deep learning 3. Texas is the largest event in our campus helding every year. Club events will be held every week that is our wish for the participation. Books ????,in our library there is Wi-Fi access and has a wide range of books ????. No extra curricular activities.

I stay in Kolathur Chennai. I've applied only for just 2 colleges . One is SRM and other one is VIT Chennai. I've attended the VITEEE exam but unfortunately I did not get seat in that university ????. So I opted SRM. Nothing to avoid that university.

Faculty members are very friendly and kind. Inter assessment 60 marks which comprises of Cycle Test 1- 20 marks Cycle Test 2- 20 marks Projects, assignmens and presentation- 20 marks Totally 60 marks Semester (theory) will be written for 75 marks and will be converted to 40 marks. Totally 100 marks.

Boys hostel: Fees: 1.85L Non A/C 2.40 A/C Enter into the hostel before 8:30 Girls hostel: Fees: 2L Non A/C 2.50 A/C Enter into the hostel before 6:30 Hostel foods are amazing told by my friends and no problems inside the hostel . Laundry will be provided at no extra cost.
