Likes
- The best thing here is the discipline which the college maintains between the students
- The faculties here are highly qualified, and there teaching style is awesome, they maintain a friendly relationship with the students
- The infrastructure here is also good, they got separate building for various departments including central Library, canteen, and al types of sports grounds
Dislikes
- The thing I disliked is the promotion of sports environment as there is a very little scope of individual improvement here
- The course curriculum is the same old which is running from past so many years, which I think must be modified
Course Curriculum Overview
I personally had a interest in Information Technology field from my childhood, which made me choose this course, this course helps me achieve my required skills which I need for further placement in software field, the area of improvement which I think is that from the first year itself, the main placement related skills should be taught and make students industry ready.
Placement Experience
The students get eligible for placements from the 7 th semester itself, a lot of campus placements occur here. The companies visiting are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, MOTHERSO, TALENT SURV etc.. The highest package offered was 34 LPA and the average here is 4-5 LPA. About 90 percent of students get placed here with good package. I am basically aiming for a job too after completion of the course
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees here is 135,000 for the first year and 120,000 from the next year onwards, they also provide various scholarship like UP scholarship, Pragati Scholarship in which a few amount of the tuition fees gets deducted according to the category including GEN/OBC/SC/ST
Campus Life
There are in total 3 events held in our college, namely freshers, mata ki chauki in October and Tatva at the end year. It has a big central Library which provides every book you need to gain all the knowledge required. The sports events are held once a year namely zonals, in which we compete with other college of AKTU in various sports. There are various clubs running in college, which helps in over all development of students namely Yantrikom, Photoholics, coders club etc...
Hostel Facilities
They provide single room, double seater room and triple seater room in the hostels, the overall fees is 84000 for the triple seater, 90000 for double seater, and 100000 for single seater, we have both Ac and Non Ac rooms, the mess quality is quite decent and we have a menu for all 7 days, food is provided for 4 times in a day. The rooms are provided with bed and study table , we get water cooler and geysers too.
Admission
I had applied for the AKTU counseling in which I was alloted this college, I made the decision to choose this college as it has a very goof reputation on disciplined study, regular exams, proving placement, internship opportunities and sports related improvement too. One can take admission here through AKTU counselling or Direct through 12th board marks, which should be greater than 70 percent
Faculty
There are 6 faculties per subject and it's quite enough, they are all friendy and highly qualified, they are always ready to help you whenever you got a doubt. They conduct exams very frequently, there are unit tests after completion of every chapter, 2 Sessional tests, 1 PUT and the final external exam, the difficulty level is moderate, you can pass if you study even for the last week
Night Life
Our college has an indoor stadium which contains Gym which has all the essential equipments you need as a Gym Rat. There are various grass grounds in which we can walk, sit and enjoy the campus rush. There are 5 hostel for boys and one for girl, For girls entries are accepted till 11 pm in hostel ( campus gates closes at 8 pm) and for boys you can come anytime in the hostel but have to stay inside the college campus
