Life in vit chennai

They are useful and related to the course, specially for buisness they are having a lot of other assignments which improve our communication skills and improve our leadership skills too. The exam timings are not enough.. as you have to write a lot in 1 and a half hours

The yearly fees is around 1,76,000, it depends on your grades too but for business it is kinda similar for everyone . The interview is conducted and they check their 12th marks for the admission. They do provide scholarships but I'm not very sure about the details

The campus life is really good there is a lot of open mics happening everywhere and very frequently and a lot of shows happening during main festivals not only Tamil festivals but from other cultures too. The technical fest that happens is called technovit it happens for 3 days where people conduct games and many people showcase their talent in their robotics.There's hackathons, pitchathons and much more . And one more main event is the vibrance where they bring celebrities to perform and the clubs there is a lottt of clubs in every category as well as in every culture

The hostel facilities can be improved a little bit like the washrooms and the food it's pretty good but can be improved a little bit otherwise it's nice. They could provide more for the fees you are paying. I'm in a 4 sharing ac room where each person gets a bunker bed with cupboards and study table attached with it with and a your own table lamp

I got into other colleges but I wanted to go to vit because of its environment and it encourages you in not only studies but also in extracurricular activities. Other colleges compared to vit did not offer me that much offers in other things than studies.

The faculties are pretty good , they do teach well but yeah some are kinda bad but we can choose our professors from second sem by ffcs method . It's a thing where u get to choose the slot and professor for the next sem.the first preference will be given to people who are going in bus, second preference is for the students who have 100 percentage of attendance and the last is for the others .there are two semesters and each semester contains 2 cat exam and 1 fat the cat exams and other assignments and quizes consist of 60 percent and the fat is 40 percent so the semester marks are taken from this

There is a lot of places like Gymkhana where there is both gym and a place to eat, there is dominos and gazebo which offers lot of options to eat. Then there's north square where you get the reallyy delicious fried rice ,noodles,shawarma and there are places to get delicious chaats. The locality is safe as there are lot of securities everywhere . The libraries are open most of the time . Night library is also available for girls till 11.00 and boys till 11.30 during fat exams they are open for a little more Hostel timings for girls is 8 pm intime and for boys it's 9 pm
