Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is great, other than conventional subjects, you get to learn one foreign language of your choice amonh french, german, chinese, Korean in your second year. Plus they teach English, soft skills. Exams are semester wise, and also in each semester you give two class test, and one pre senester exam. These three internal exam, takes half credit for that semester.
Placement Experience
Placements are good, more than 100 companies visit our campus, and usually 90 percent of students get placed, rest go for higher studies and very few don't get selected beacuse of them only. If you work hard, you will atelast get infosys or tcs
College Events
We have various events in our college. Like our tech fest INNOVATE, SRM MUN, VAJRA (SPORTS FEST), MUSIC MANIA (DJ NIGHT), Tedx. All the events are good, and it mostly depends on students, other than these events we have small departmental and hostel events too. Quality of these events depends on the batch of thay year also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
One thing which is very bad in SRM is fees, they charge a way expensive fee, for everything they ask for money. Even for each exam you gotta pay exam fee, in total if today one wants to study in this college you gotta spend around 10 lakh rupees, which is exclusive of hostel. Its very expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are the topper of the batch you will get your fee waived for that year, and also many banks like pnb, and sbi provide student loan for thia college. One of my friend studied with student loan in this college.
Campus Life
In our campus, we have football, basketball, cricket, volleyball fields and many indoor games too. Computer labs are nice, two of them have all apple desktops which are great. Classroom are air conditioned with centralized systems.
Alumni/Alumna
Student network in my college is great, you get great diversity, our college has huge kashmiri, ladhaki students which also help us to grow . Although passout students are helpful but not that much. Seniors do help us, but we gotta seek it. Also various committees are there in which similar interests carrying students help each other.
Faculty
Faculty has knowledge of there subjects, but some can teach them others not. Its all mix, specially it depends on department management too. If i tell you about my cse department, it is the best department of my campus, and teacher work hard with students.
