Course Curriculum Overview

2

There are 10-12 subjects per semester and it's really goes boring to keep studying all of them regularly so most of the students prefer a night before the exam for preparation. The agronomy practical activities like weeding , fertiliser application may prepare you for field work if you really want to practice farming . As such no theory subject will provide you ground experience. The syllabus for the subjects is historical too and hence not relevant as such for today's competition with other disciplines.

Fees and Financial Aid

For EWS category student (Boy / hostellite) :- For admission and 1st sem registration - Rs.21,150 2nd sem - 11,400 3rd sem - 14,150 4th sem - 11,700 So approx it's - 25,000 per year For open category it's more by Rs.2000 per sem and for girls and other categories like OBC , SC , ST and others it's bit less It includes hostell fees too , ie. 6000 for approx 6 months , so 1000/month

Campus Life

3

Here , we celebrate Ganesh chaturthi, chhatrapati shivaji maharaj jayanti, Krushi chashak (sports festival, specifically cricket). All the activities are organised by the 'ARF' along with the respective committees .. No as such cooperation by the college for activites and festivals.

Admission

All sports aren't there in this Rahuri University. For eg Karate - I didn't check before admission and it left me with regret throughout the College years . It's adviced to check all the details before getting admitted, just don't be trapped in the fake beauty of the campus .

Faculty

3

There are good faculties in our college. However some of the are old aged so it's difficult for students and the professors to copeup with eachother. like any other college, all the professors aren't excellent. Most of them are the same college passed out. Most of the faculty seats are vacant in college departments.there are 10-12 subjects per semester and you have to go through continuous exams(sem end) for 1 month (approx 15 days theory and 15 days practicals) . Mid sem exams last for 1 week hardly.

Night Life

5

We have a good gym in our college provided with good equipments that's free of cost for students. There's a canteen but it's not appreciable. You've got FC road in front of your main gate to hang out with friends and .. . There's N.T. wadi at the backside.its not safe for girls to Rome around there at late evening hours .. as a girl and 1st year student you cant enjoy the night life due to time restrictions at the hostel .

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.
