MJ college "The star college of Hyderabad"

Overall a very good college other than NITs and IIITs. MJ is considered most preferred college in Hyderabad.

I cleared (EAMCET) Common Entrance Test of Andhra Pradesh - 2013 with rank of 8239. Though the competition and cutoff marks required for MJ college was tough, luckily I was selected in online conselling. The admission process was very simple after that which required general formalities for the college.

As the college is affiliated to Osmania University, no doubt the curriculum was of standard pattern which was required for engineering course. Moreover the faculty was very helpfull in every aspect of the subject and students find the lectures very easily understandable and have good clarity

Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Redpine signals, Accenture, Capital IQ, iGate, etc which provides good opportunities for students as an intern. Internship helped many students in getting Jobs of their interest and satisfaction.Stipend generally varies from 5000/- to 10,000/- pm.

Every year college celebrates it's Annual function ADSOPHOES in the Month of February. Students witness the celebrations & euphoria at one of the country's biggest technical cum professional national-level annual fest. It comes with unrestrained plethora of prestigious events, thrilling competitions, conferences, guest lectures, workshops, games, sports & a lot more. Other than that college celebrates E-Week every year which mainly focuses on harnessing of entrepreneurship and leadership qualities in a student. It is open for all departments.

As per revised fee in the year 2013-14, current fee for MJ college is 41100/- rupees per semester. Other than this, we have examination fees and other fees as required which comes approximately 2000 rupees per year. Before revised fee the college few was 16000/- per semester. It is considered little expensive for an average middle class people.

Yes, college does offer scholarship to students who belong to poor and middle class family which is helped by Telengana and Andhra Government. Around 50% of the college fee can be reimbursed through this scholarship.

There are lots of student chapters such as IEEE, Entrepreneurship Cell, Engineers without Borders, Robotics club which is one of the finest club in India. These chapters not only provide technical growth but also helps in personal growth. Orators club also helps students in building their soft skills.

There is no hostel facilities available in the college premises. But still students manage to stay in PGs who belong to out stations. Since college is located in the main city, it's difficult to find PGs around college. PGs which are 6 7 kms ar from colle

MJ college does have a alumni club and every year we do have an Alumni Meet in which people share their experience, knowledge and interact with each person and plans for future growth of self and college.

The exams were scheduled as per the curriculum and when required. The assessments are always challenging for which students have to work hard and clear it. The labs are always helpful other than theory part which was required for practical knowledge.
