Life at Parul University

They provide you with a good placement as the course that I choose is associated with Microsoft so they said that they will provide us with the internship in Microsoft as we have to give Microsoft global certification exams every semester like I had given AZ-900 and AI-900 global certification exam . The faculties of these courses are quite good they provide us with enough knowledge that we can pass these examinations. The area for improvement is to change some of the teaching methods like there should be regular class tests to check the students knowledge base . And the certificate exams are very tough and difficult and is carried out on certiport platform. The exam duration is of 1 hours and is of 1000 marks of which 700 is the passing marks.

A lot of companies visit every year such as service now, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Google and many more small and big companies. They provide you with internships of stipend 12000 per month that is 144000 per year . You can also opt for out campus internships and you have to provide the certificate of your internship then only it will be considered. In your 7 semester you have to submit your project based on your respective domain. You have to form a group of 4 to 5 students and submit your topic or task to the faculty and do the submission by the end of your 7 semester. You can choose between web development, back end development, front end development, full stack development, app development and many more. In the 8th semester you have to provide your internship certificate of either three months or 6 months then only you will be eligible to get your degree and you should not have any backlog in any subject. So the university offers a lot of internships but it is up to the student that whether he is eligible for that or not.

For campus placement students become eligible from 6 semester. And they can opt for both In campus and out campus placement. They can also enroll for university's placement cell where they can complete there internship by staying in the college itself !! A lot of companies visit campus every year like service now, Google, microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart,TCS,and many more .The highest package offered is from a company of Germany of 42 lakh and average package is 4-5 lakh . According to the reports they say that we provide placement to almost 90% of the students but as per I have noticed I think only 30% students get the placement from the university that may be because of their weak knowledge base ... because the university brings a lot of companies for interview but students were not able to clarify those rounds !! After getting the degree I will also opt for placement in a reputed company.

Hey Isha here!! I'm pursuing BTech CSE in association with Microsoft from parul University. I'm currently in 2 nd year The year wise fee that I have to pay is 1,78,000 for this course as it is a type of specialization.From this the exam fee is 12000 which is included in the fee already and rest of the structure is not mentioned in our invoices. The other students also pay the same fee expect the core student and normal course students as they pay only 1,38,000 for BTech CSE . And yes the course that I'm pursuing is a bit demanding that's why it's fee increase every year but not for the regular courses. It's almost same like previous year when I took admission I paid 40,000 extra but this year for the same course students are paying 75,000 extra. And there are a lot of scholarship that they provide such as based on your GUJCET rank or MYSY scholarship or according to your 12 th boards results if you are from other state than Gujarat. Because I was the topper of DNH but still they didn't gave me scholarship because I have completed my 12 th from Gujarat board

There are a lot of annual and technical festival such as freshers of 2 days in the month of December, Tech day in February,Dhoom fest in the month of March,new year party, treasure hunt games, cultural day celebration, group day, bollywood day,and many more days, I.I.M.U.N , convocation and so on .till now a lot of celebrities had visit here.like alia bhatt, ranveer singh,jonita gandhi,neha Kakkar,Boman Irani , nora fatehi and the list keeps going .the library offers wide variety of books and reading room as well for focus and determined study . The classroom contains a lot of facilities such as projector,white board and AC in the laboratory and practical sessions, industrial visit and so on . All types of sports are played within the campus,as the campus contains a cricket ground,a separate handball ground,a separate basketball ground,a separate kabaddi ground,a separate kho kho and tug of war ground, and separate badminton ground and many more . Campus and organisations support startup and students do run social group ,clubs,and students take part in them actively

Hostel facilities it's quite good. There are a lot of facilities provided such as there are AC rooms as well as non AC rooms it is up to the student which one he wants. They give separate cupboards for this storage. They also provide separate washrooms and bathrooms and hot water during winter season. The only problem is that the food of the mess is not of that good quality. Students are dissatisfied due to this. They give breakfast between 6:30 to 7:30 and lunch between 11 to 2:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 to 8:30. A lot of varieties are provided by them such as for breakfast they provide pasta, idli sambar, vada pav, in many more items along with tea and coffee. In lunch they provide two varieties of vegetables,rice,dal, buttermilk, chapattis and so on . For dinner one variety of vegetable and the same menu. That registration process for hostel is simple, you just have to choose the hostel in which you want to stay and pay the 50% fee . The hostel price is quite affordable as it ranges from 77 000 to 150000 . It is up to you that how many facilities you want. You can also stay in rented rooms and the price for them starts from 3000 per month. This is the price if you want to share the room. If you want separate room then you need to pay more. In rented room you have to make your food by own but in pg they will provide you with the food. So according to me the PG life is quite good if you want to enjoy your college life because in hostel you can't get out of your campus without the gate pass and for the gate pass you have to take approval from your parents through video call in front of the rector.

I have applied to various other colleges such as IIIT Pune ,LPU Punjab,MSU vadodara and so on !! I got admission in LPU and other government engineering colleges such as bharuch and in MSU as well for chemical engineering!! But my main goal was to pursue CSE and I have heard about parul University as here I have so many friends of mine so they suggested me !! And the university placement is also quite good so I thought it could be a good option for me !! And the admission process here is so easy !! You have to book your appointment,ho for counselling and then pay half of the fee and your admission is confirmed. If you apply for loan then you don't have to pay anything just submit the loan approval letter to the department. The cutoff keeps changing every year for this course so I'm not sure about it !! And no I didn't got rejection from any colleges instead in LPU they gave me 30% discount as well as scholarship after confirming my HSC result and rank !! But yeah I was my choice to come to this university.

The faculty to student ratio is quite good . Like 1 faculty over 40 students. And the faculties here are so friendly with the students except some of them ofcourse. The faculties that I found interesting as Mr jashwanth parlapalli , S.P. prince, Monika mam,Ashok Pandey,Hemant mohite and some more !! There is no one whom I don't like ...I mean almost all of them are good in nature and teaching. About the exams the take 4 exams yearly Among them : 2 mid sems that is 1 in each semester of 40 marks and 2 main sems at the end of every semester of 60 marks and there are weekly tests as well

Yes I have given interview for the admission, they asked me some basic questions from my 12th standard exams and also there was a group discussion round. You can avail different scholarships according to these interviews and I hadn't prepared for these rounds as it happened on the spot because I had no information about this thing that we will take interview for the admission process. The exam was not that tough they just asked easy questions.

Campus includes gym that functions the whole day,a lot of cafeteria such as old food court,new food court,subway , canteen,dominos ,la pinnoz,Capitol and many more ,all varieties of food are available within the campus South, North, Chinese, Italian and many more, Capitol is like a public gatherings area where students showcase their talent such as singing dancing acting and many more every night !! And the out campus life is also quite amazing,the night views and so on !! Hostel in timing is 9:30 at night and campus in timing is 8:00 at night and in the morning 5:00 am is the out timing. The whole campus is safe to roam around as there are security guards at every corner of the campus and their private hospitals as well.students get extra discount on medicines and ambulance facility is also provided to the students, out campus places such as Akota bridge, sayaji baug , Sayaji fort , Taksh galaxy mall,and many more that can be described in detail . Overall it's a great in campus exp.
