Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum we have in osmania would be sufficient for any student to bring out their best .the internal xams divide the syllabus and prefinals whole syllabus will be there for xam just as final it is usually 1month before final xam so that we get well prepared for final xam.the xams conducted in clg are usually more are less similar to the university xams the pattern or difficulty . sometimes may be little difficult but nothing to worry as it just prepared us and the marks would not effect us so much for the final percentage.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship in our college gives us the best experience in all the clinical departments because we have good patient load, separate hospitals for some departments ,and our faculty is very good and friendly always ready to clear our doubts and teach us.but one thing is had to work in old building of osmania general hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for mbbs is around 10000per semester .every year has 2 semesters except second year in which we have 3 semesters.and hostel fees was around 700per month which we can pay yearly at a time, yes it can increase.library fee was paid only during admission .e pass scholarship can be received every year around 10000for non hostelers and 20000 for hostelers per year

Campus Life

4

The annual fests are the great opportunity to show your skills in many aspects such as sports any cultural events like dance singing acting , photography ,any other talent .as the fests offer many online competitions also.u can bring out ur leadership qualities and organising skills as these are completely organised by students .u get to experience many things also good interaction with faculty also.osmania also organises a three day program called osmecon for broadening the clinical perspectives.it includes case presentations, poster presentations ,seminars ,workshops, symposiums various quizes both offline and online which is very interactive as well as educational and also exciting

Hostel Facilities

4

Girls hostel was an old building when I joined but it's renovated now and it accomodates good amount of students.may be three persons per room which is quite comfortable .In final year single rooms are given . Fee is also less which is around 700per month.u can pay it half yearly or yearly basis.mess is also good it may cost upto 3000per month u can pay per meal basis or monthly as ur wish

Admission

The admission is through neet pg exam.as I got a very good rank I could choose any clg in state and I choose osmania as it is best .also thought of Gandhi medical College keeping in mind the infrastructure would be better there but finally I'm into osmania and I'm very much satisfied no regrets I feel I chose the best.

Faculty

4

Osmania has the best faculty .they teach very well in the classes .we can ask our doubts in the class itself or just after the class. they are very friendly even.I have many favourites inthe clg like pushpamala mam from anatomy,Jaya mam ,kiranmai mam form biochem,Shanta mam,Geetha mam from physiology , rajendra prasad sir from medicine and many...coming to xams 2 internal exams every year and a prefinal and a final.more. Than 80%of students pass yearly .

Night Life

5

There are many places in college itself to hangout and refresh like college canteen , basketball court, tennis court , throwball court ,lawns , lunch area , omc ground ,laughing Buddha statues . all these are very good places where u can gather along with your friends and have a chill time after the classes.u will definitely fall in love with the college.

Other Applied Colleges

Gandhi Medical College | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Because I felt osmania is the best college in the state for mbbs as it has huge clinical exposure through its affiliated hospitals in Hyderabad giving us the extra edge in terms of patient exposure.also college is separate from the hospital which gives a

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
