Affordable and Well-Structured: A Detailed Review of BA Hons English

The English Literature is one of today's very important and useful subjects. For the Bachelor of Arts (English Honours) program under the SC category, the fee structure at BHU is highly affordable. The admission fee paid by me was 1,150, and the total fee for the 4-year course amounts to approximately 10,000. This makes it one of the most economical programs for students from reserved categories.

No one can get bored in Banaras Hindu University campus. There are different kinds of programmes like dancing, singing, instrumental organised almost every month. Winter carnival is also set up and donation drives are run. The campus has wifi and is sophisticated with technology. There are multiple playgrounds. There are clubs for dance, music, competitive exams, etc.

I also got admission in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College in Delhi University but declined it due to the distance of it from my hometown. I failed to make it to the Allahabad University due to higher cut off marks. For Bachelor of Arts in BHU, one need to apply for English, General Test and Mathematics subjects in CUET . I was very exhausted during the physical verification after my admission in the Banaras Hindu University. The staff was acting in a very mediocre way.

The faculty-to-student ratio is good. My experience with the Faculty of Arts is good but the Faculty of Social Science needs to be more approachable. There are class tests every two months and internal assignments apart from semester examinations.

There are good shops in and around the campus. The Central Library runs from 9 am to 9 pm. The hostels are strict regarding to night outings. Most famous place is the Vishwanath Temple. The localty is not very safe although, there are news in the past about certain mishappenings and criminal activities.
