Remarks
The college is situated in the middle of the city so there's ain't not much convenience and other problems.Its one of the most prestigious colleges of the city and country having received many rewards for that,but the teaching faculty and attendance requirements needs to be updated.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is big and covers an enormous base of subjects from accounts,law, economics,maths,IT and others.The exam structure consists of a mid-sem termed as CIA held in between semesters of 6 months each of 10 marks along with the semester exams of 80 marks.The other 10 marks are for attendance, presentation and projects
Placement Experience
The college has an placement cell where one can register by the end of there UG degree.The provide very good package to just B.Com level graduates upto 8-10lakhs per annum.U can also participate in interships organised by various societies of the college
College Events
There are many events,interaction orgsnised by various societies of the college around the year with no restriction over eligibility for participation.The college also has an annual event named XAVOTSAV celebrated in the end of each January
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is moderate.Properly suited for a middle class family.There are two department for BCom(Hons) in the college.The morning department is an all-boys department with a considerable fee whereas the evening department is Co-ed with a bit high fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
There might be some kind of loan facility offered by the college but it would be barred to only fairly marginalized students based on caste certificate or so on.Same goes for scholaship programme though I don't have much idea about those.
Campus Life
The college has good well maintained labs and activity rooms.There's also a TT,Caroom room along with fairly large ground with round the year tournaments like cricket,football,etc.The college also organizes annual sports meet.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful and friendly.They help u out in many day to day problems and not just the academic part.There's also a constant interaction with them through the societies of college.The alumni network is also quite active and keeps organising events regularly.
Faculty
The faculty is just OK.The professors are friendly and will help u with ur doubts and other problems.They also help in problems from ur other professional degrees like CA,CA,CFA,etc.There are also some who don't know how to teach and are just too boring.
