Review of IIITDM Kurnool

cariculum is well managed, and updated with time. Each course in the institute has decent demand in future like the major courses are mechanical, electronics, computer science, artificial intelligence and data science. Plus anyone can do double major and one minor too if they meet the specific requirements. Overall course structure is designed properly.

currently i have paid 1,40,000 for 1st semester and 87,000 for 2nd semester so according to this trend the whole course can be upto 10-11 lakhs. The fees has ioncreased compared to last year. some of my friends whole are from certain catogery have paid even smaller amount in which whole tution fee of 80,000 is waved additional to this there is many scholarshiop one can avail here, the schemes by centeral, state government, private compamnies like reliance, adani group and many other. The fees is affordable on overall scale as this institute is directly funded by government of India.

there are clubs like gdg, git club for programming and club of art, music, dancing,poetry other clubs for literature, library, robotics, entrepreneurship and astronomy clubs too, overall clubs and it's managment is good, but because of small strength of students participation in cultural and social events are not very high.

The rooms, bathroom and hostel are all quite well maintained, they are cleaned frequently at proper interval of time, with rooms 2 times a week, hostel floors and bathrooms are cleaned daily. So hygiene is maintained properly. All rooms are for 1-2 person only with exception as in 1st year one will get 2-3 person sharing rooms. There is Ethernet port in each room for Internet a in wall cupboard according to number of student in room. currently mess food was not upto the mark so they quickly gave tenders to change the caterer, hope we will seen improvement in this too.

one major resason to choose this college except the rank was that there are very less iiit's that have there own campus, but this iiitdm has it's own campus, this institute even has MOU with IIM visakhapatnam, NIT Warangal and foreign universities like university of agder, norway. These are some of the reasons to choose this institute too.

the ratio between faculty and student is well managed, there is no overcrowding of student. In our first semester, we had great teacher for maths and C programming especially. So overall environment is very good for study, professors are supportive and seniors help in sharing there used past resources too, library is well maintained with books avlaible for course as well as other books for knowledge and some very good novels too. In 1 semester there are 2 exams one is mid-sem exam and another is end-sem exams, it's not difficult at all to pass those exams even if one gives 2-3 weeks of proper study, regular class attendance and have class notes of professors.

we have one gym in campus, one cafeteria with future plans to build more of them and small eating places in campus too. Library is one of the best spots in whole campus with only problem that timing of library is quite small, but currently they are increasing the library timings in future. The campus doesn't have any big place inside or outside to hangout as it's a bit in remote location and campus is not fully constructed as of now, they still planned to make many more additional things in future. The timings of hostel in is upto 8 pm which is quite strict and in hostel till 12 pm which is not very strict in schedule.
