Nazir Ajmal Memorial College of Education

The college provides BA degree along with necessary coaching in Civil services and CUET. There is a need of improvements in library, and classroom equipment. Also the college needs to improve the ratio of Boys. The exams are generally of 2 hrs or maybe 2.5 hrs long. The exams are regular with frequent class tests.

We need to pay Rs 160000 as Yearly academic fees. Admission fees, hostel fees, lab fees everything is included. We need to pay the amount in 3 installments 70000,50000 & 40000. Also there are scholarships available for meritorious students. One of my friends who's a district topper in 12th boards got 100% fee concession in academics. Also there are other benefits for students of poor economic backgrounds. If you score more than 85% in 12th then there are chances of more concession upto Rs 50000.

There are not much fests held in our college but there are functions for the special days. The number of books available are not very dynamic and are very less. Some classrooms are equipped with smartboard and projectors but only very few of them not all. There are no sports and extracurricular activities or any clubs for BA Boys.

The hostel is very poor just two lights, a fan a table and a bed with mosquito stands and a switchboard. The meal here is of poor quality books: Morning: Potato, dal and rice Afternoon: Egg/Fish/ Chicken with rice Night: Third class curry/fry with rice. The registration process is very simple just meet the ma'am in the office of the college.

I chose this college because it provides Civil services coaching. I didn't apply for other colleges because other colleges do not provide such facilities. The admission process of our college is very simple just meet the ma'am in the office and she explains everything. There is no any specific cut off just you get some concessions for scoring high i.e. 85% and more 12th. The overall admission experience is really very good and better.

There is a faculty for almost 25 students. The faculties are good and approachable. The faculties I like the most are Amrit Sir and Kaji sir as they are very strict and humble. The faculties I don't like much are Saklin Sir and Tompok Sir as they seem very partial to me. There are regular tests with a sessional and Fre Final before the semester exams. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate and generally all the students clear the exams. The course curriculum is very relevant.

We generally hangout outside the campus, there are no such places for boys inside the campus. There are no gyms, cafeteria, a poor library. The hostel is very strict we need to get inside before 6 PM. The locality is safe at night but generally we have nothing to do as there are no good spots for hanging out.
