Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are there, but no stipend. Because of our course is psychology and the intership are to be paid by us. Other students have internships which are paid. For bcom, bba etc courses. That's all.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid yearly 23000/- and per semester 11250. The tution fee were 11250/- , caution fee and other fees together 5000 rupees total . I was admitted to this college by management, so the first year i had to pay 28000/- , which is the fees of two semesters and other fees included. No donation was asked. My classmates who joined paid 11250 per semester. There were no difference in fees as it was self financing college. Scholarships which can be applied during the course were many, like post matric scholarship, maulana..etc.
Campus Life
College fest, onam celebration, commerce fests, election, etc. throughout the year many fests are conducted. Good amount of books in library. Wide variety of collections. Well lit classrooms. Air conditioned seminar halls. Sports for boys. Cricket, football and many more.. NSS IS THERE.
Admission
I applied to farook college also. I peekay cics arts and science because of the facilities they provide. The psychology lab contains almost every instrument for the studies. The eligibility is that you have secured minimum of 80% .Your high school studies.
Faculty
There are much faculties to provide classes. The student faculty relationship is unbelievable. Very friendly. Professor Aseera Nisam, HOD of psychology department is remarkable for the behaviour towards the students. Professor biya, sahala, sruthi ,binisha , swadik left a heartfelt mark in our memories. Exams are semester wise. There is also internal exams conducted by the college . The student fail rate is very low. The course curriculum is very defined.
Night Life
As i was a day scholar, i dont know about nights. But the cafeteria is great. We always used to go to hilite mall after college. Good spot to hangout. Then there is a botanical garden which is mind-blowingly spectacular and breath taking.
