Excellent college for study

The college is really supportive for all the students and it encourages to go in a right path and follow passion. The faculty provided completely encourage the students in all ways. Cons are mainly the behaviour of some students which effects the others.

In all 12 faculties, OU offers a number of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research programmes. ? Two Diploma Courses, 11 PG Diploma Courses, 13 Undergraduate, 88 Postgraduate, one M Phil, 65 PhD programmes, two integrated programmes. ? OU caters to the diverse needs of about 3.2 lakh students in the university, constituent and affiliated colleges. ? Through innovations in curriculum, new courses are introduced to address the emerging needs of knowledge-based society. Exams are conducted semester wise

The job opportunities and placements are very noticeable for every student, many a times job meal takes place and direct placements are for science and commerce background students. I can only say that opportunities are great here but one must be with patients at the prime time.

International conferences are held in the college. Guest lecturers are engaged in the teaching. Sport events, musical events, cultural events are held. Both technical and non-technical symposiums are conducted in the college by the students under the guidance of the experienced faculty.

Fee structure is very much better compared to all the colleges in Hyderabad. The students can even apply for scholarships based on their eligibility. Generally the government provides most of the funds which decreases the fee to students. It is not expensive.

Students generally apply for merit scholarship which is given on the basis of their intermediate marks. President and prime minister scholarships are provided to the eligible candidates. For the students under below poverty apply for epass which refunds the caution deposit paid to college.

Labs provided by our college are one the finest in entire Telangana state. For the student encouragement in sports we have sports club and almost facilities for most the active sports are provided like cricket ground, football ground, basketball court etc.... Students engage in extracurricular activities like music organising events etc...

Alumni association in our college is really big and better . Students are offered internships and placements from the alumni association. They are the backbone of all the students activities held in our college. They even fund the students for start-ups based in the quality of the ideas.

Osmania University has established 12 different Faculties and is composed of different departments or disciplines, in order to offer courses in various subjects with ability and effectively. These courses have stipulated period of course of study/learning to get graduated in particular branch of discipline, after undergoing scheme of instruction, training and evaluation. The concept of faculty was introduced in Osmania University in the year 1964 and was headed by a senior most faculty member of the comprehensive branches of the discipline of the faculty known as Dean of the Faculty. It is a statutory position of the University and appointed on rotation basis by the Executive Council/Syndicate of the University in exercise of the powers conferred by ordinance XXVII of University Statues and Ordinances. Initially the term of Dean was for 3 Years, subsequently reduced to 2 Years.
