- I liked the hostel and infrastructure here. As the college is new, I liked the infrastructure here.
- I liked the library services here. Library opens from 8 am to 11 pm everyday.
- I liked the placements rates of non tech branches like chemical here. Its good.
Dislikes
- I disliked the mess food here. The mess food is average because its not changed after so much time.
- I disliked the college area. It is located in a very remote place away from city.
- Anything you need, you have to travel far for basic things. Also, the construction is going on.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good here. Its inspired from iits and nits. It has industry oriented approach and the course currciulum is made so that students can get internship and placement opportunities on campus. Teaching methds of teachers is done through ppts and manual pedagogies and teaching in innovative ways.
Placement Experience
Placements of the college are good, This college specialises in placements for chemical and petroleum branches while tech branches are recently opened in this college so the placement opportunities are improving each year. Students are sent to bengaluru campus for their placements in their last year. The placement rate is around 90 percent here. My aim is for on campus and off campus placements both. Off campus placements are quite more competitive than on campus ones.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is between 2,50,000 to 3,50,000. The mess yearly fees is 20000. Financial aids available are UP scholarship, govt scholarships and reliance UG scholarship. Other fees.include caution fees that is 10,000 and hostel caution fees is aso included in it.
Campus Life
Campus life is good here. The campus is situated away from city so the air quality is good here and campus life is good. There are parks and grounds inside the college for the people to chill during examinations and after classes. Extracurriculars are good here. Clubs like acm, gfdg and aiche are here on campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good here. You will get two seater rooms with spacious rooms, one almirah, one desk, one chair for living here. Toilets are clean and good here. There are geyser to use during winters and rest of all the basic amenties are there.
Admission
Admission process of college is quite easy. If you are a JEE Advanced qualified candidate, a person can get admission on the basis fo his rank. You have to apply though RGIPT's official portal for admission to Btech programmes.I also filled in JOSAA and was getting good branches in NITs. But I preffered this college beause of better branch opportunity. Eligibility is jee advanced qualified and above 80 percent in board examinations.
Faculty
Course structure is good here. Faculty to student ratio is 1:40 here. Faculties are good here. Mostly are IIt graduates and some have done their postdocs from foreign universities. Midsems and endsems are conducted while quizzes depend upon the teacher. They can give assignments or conduct quizzes.
Night Life
Night life of the college is good. The mess timings are from 8 to 10 pm for dinner. After that, people go out for walk and hang out with their friends. Hostel late night talks and late night studies during examinations are best memories here.
