- The campus environment is welcoming and relatively peaceful, conductive to learning

- Though the labs are functional but the equipment are outdated, Hostel need better maintains especially for boys hostel

Placement Experience
Student become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Compaies like HCL, TATA MAhindra ,L and T ,Cognizant and many other training centers visit the campus. Around 50-100 offers typically made each year. the highest package offerd is around 10LPA for roles in product baced companies, while the average is 3 LPA. mainly for service-based roles.

Campus Life
The college hosts an anual cultural fest. "Chaitra," and a techical fest. The library ha s a vast collection of textbooks, reference materials, and journals. Classroms are equipped with basic necessities . The Campus offer facilities for cricket ,volleyball and athletics.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are basic but clean,with shared accommodation for 2-3 students. Each room is quipped with a cot ,study table ,fan and a wardrobe for each individual. the meal are generally simple and nutritious. The registration process for the hostel is strightforward. The hostel fees about 35000 with 3000 deposite for 1st year.
Admission
I applied to UVCE, BIET, GMIT and many more top colleges and recieved admission offer from UBDT College and Malnad college of engineering hasana.I chose UBDT for its afforability, governament status, and decent reoutation for engineering in Karnataka.It offer better access to experienced faculty compared to other college which i applied. Admission are through KCEt exam. Eligibility requires a 12th-grade pass with PCM. CET scores and ranks determines seats allocation during counseling. For my brancg,the cutoff is typically around 25000.
Faculty
UBDT college of engineering has experienced faculty,though their teaching method can vary.The faculty-to-student ratio is decent,ensuring good interaction.The course curriculum needs updates to align with modern industry demands.exams are moderately challenging,with a transparent marking schema.Overall,it's good place for technical education with scope for improvement.
Night Life
The hostel is open till 7PM. The library closes at 9PM,so students get there books within that timings only. The locality is generally safe,but as with any city, it's better to avoid walking too late night alone.
