Remarks
If you are looking to do bsc in Computer science then I will prefer you this college because of its lab facilities and qualified teachers . For other branches I don't know but when I ask myou friends about it they all have a positive response So yes you can definitely come and study as well as enjoy your college life.
Course Curriculum Overview
Here in our college we appear for semesters . Each year you will have to appear for two semesters . Each semester has one internal . To secure good marks it is just more than enough to stay active during the classes and make a good note . If you want you can join the coaching facilities too nearby with a cost of Rs. 4000 per sem.
Placement Experience
This college provides placements but for pg students only . And no internship. This college is like all other bsc colleges , so no internship . Placements are also limited to pg students for those who can grab it.
College Events
Our college celebrates annual function once in a year . Fresher's party . And yes farewell . Other events include ganesh puja , swarsati puja . Sports events and activities. And that's all. It's like all other bsc colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for phy , chem, maths and zoology is same that is rs.4000 to 5000 per year but if you go for self financing courses like computer science and electronics and telecommunications you have to pay rs.18000 per year .
Fees and Financial Aid
Prerana scholarship is all that is available here. No loan facilities. Medhabruti scholarship for 12th students. And yes for these scholarships your family income should be less than 1lakh per annum.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are good in this college. If you likebana hockey or cricket then you can tell your seniors and they will help you get in sports club of this college and the college helps it's meritorious students financially to play sports and the college also sends their's team to play intercollege and national level matches. Talking about Labs. Labs are well equipped and functional. There is no free WiFi for students.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful in all the streams . There is no ragging system in this college. You will be surrounded by good bunch of people who are good in nature. Voting time so get aggressive but yes if you follow their advice you are on safe side.
Faculty
Faculty staff is really good and helpful too. But it depends on a student how he can grab the teacher's help . Teachers are good except physics teacher and a few to say . All are qualified ones but few of them are till mature they have just passed their msc and started teaching but this group of teachers will not affect as most of the teacher's are qualified and very helpful.
