Old building needs some renovation so the atmosphere according to a college can be set.
Course Curriculum Overview
30% marks are to be scored from college, of which 5% are for attendance 5% for assignments and 20% Wieghtage is given to internal exams. Rest 70% depends on your university exams. Assignments are of no use, you just have to copy the pages from textbook and submit and secure your internal marks. Some professors used to take tests which helped in learning in class.
Placement Experience
No internships in any kind of courses. But the college provides placements to graduates. I was personally placed in TCS GANDHINAGAR in 2018 but couldn't continue because of backlog
College Events
Many events like Navratri, Janmashtami, sports and cultural festivals were promoted by the college. The food festival was once celebrated in which games and other activities were held in the ground of college. The abvp group also supported and organized festivals
Fee Structure And Facilities
As Tolani commerce college is government college, the fees for fy students was around 2500 for the whole year with girls paying 500rs less in all semesters. Fees for sy students was nearly 2000rs and ty students were 1500rs with extra expense of forms and xerox of documents.
Fees and Financial Aid
With so minimum fees, no person in the college need not apply for the scholarship and I did not even apply
Campus Life
The campus had more boys than girls and there is a mix population of guj Hindi and English medium schools, so you get to see and live and make friends with very different types of people. The canteen outside the college attracted all the youngsters of nearby college to gather and the time of break 10-10:30 was crowded.
Admission
You have to wait for the merit list based on 12 results. I got admission in 1 merit at the cutoff of 66%. Gradually the cutoff score is rising for general category as well as for reserved quota. College accommodates more than 900 students every year in BCom.
Faculty
Faculties that are aged and experienced like johra sir and thaglani sir taught their subjects very well. Many new faculties also taught in regional language (Gujarati) sometimes because of the majority belonged from Gujarati medium in my batch (2015-18)
