- The campus is adequate and luscious with a well maintained garden where u can have food with your friends.
- The cafeteria is good with a wide range of snacks and beverages.
- The environment is good as the college is far from the city so it has cleaner air.
Dislikes
- There is a gym but with very limited equipment.
- The hostel food is inadequate as told by my friends who reside.
- There is a bus facility but is very costly .
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is thorough with the lessons and credits . So this was a huge point as to why I chose this curriculum. The curriculum prepares us for the real life situations fairly well as we are taught on how to apply the knowledge we learn. The exams difficulty is fairly tough.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which regularly visit are juspay and tech Mahindra. The roles offered are dependent on the candidate's ability and knowledge of the subject and the technical skills he possesses. There are two mini projects and a single major project in the final sem. Our mini project is based on Solar powered lawn mower.
Placement Experience
The eligibility depends upon the candidate but generally from 6th and 7th sem the candidates become eligible for internships. The companies which visit the college are juspay,tech Mahindra etc The highest package this year was 30Lpa and the average is around 5lpa. I plan to work after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
COLLEGE FEES-20000 TUITION FEES-68374 S LAB FEES-10000 VTU FEE-10610 There is a government scholarship named SSP scholarship which can be availed by students which can provide 20000-70000 depending upon the category.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest is vismay which is held in the even sem for two days with great entertainment. The library is huge with a large amount of books which are not only physical but also e-book version is available and systems are provided for people who don't own a laptop to carry out their work. The sports department is very good with separate grounds being provided for each sport and regular practice being held. The cultural club is known as tridha and it carries out all social events
Admission
This was my ideal college so I refrained from applying to other colleges as I was sure to be admitted into the college The admission process is fairly simple ,in Karnataka we write a generalized exam known as kcet which serves as the basis for admission to engineering colleges all over the state.
Faculty
The student to faculty ratio is 33:1 This is a good ratio as the teachers aren't burdened by too many students. There are 3 internals and a sem exam which are fairly tough as they are based on our comprehensive ability.
Night Life
There is a gym in the sports department which is available from early mornings to evenings. The cafeteria has a huge variety of snacks and beverages which is very helpful. There are some hangout places outside the college but the prominent one is Donne Biryani.
