I went through the IIT JEE competitive exam and firstly i cleared the mains with 250 marks and then advance with 180 marks. My rank was 478 air. I took iit kanpur as it is one of the top most iits and its study pattern and exposure. I chose computer science stream as it being in trend and it was a field of my interest also.

Course is very well organised there are also various facilities like:- Library, Computer Centre, National Wind Tunnel Facility and SIDBI Innovation and Incubation Centre. It also houses faculty offices, laboratories and administrative buildings. The academic area is connected by a corridor. Which links all the major buildings. here research is given so much importance.

I thought the internship course was one of the best courses I have completed during my degree. There is nothing comparable to real world experience The only thing I would like to see is this become a stream of the cyber secuirity programming. I enjoyed the opportunity. I was surprised at how easily I was able to findsomething in my field of study, and it definitely developed my knowledge on the subject. The nature of my internship experience also gave me the opportunity to develop a thesis I had thought about before, which was convenient.

IIT Kanpur, is the student run body responsible for facilitating campus placements for graduating students and internships for pre-final year students. SPO has over 300 clients globally, who have been recruiting from IIT Kanpur on a yearly basis. It also provides promotional services to companies through workshops, interaction sessions and lectures by experts.

Antaragni is a non-profit organisation run by the students of IIT Kanpur. It was funded entirely by the Student Gymkhana of the university it began. Today the budget is almost Rs 1 crore, raised through sponsorship. It began as an inter-collegiate cultural event in 1964, and now draws in over 30, 000 visitors from 300 colleges in India Annualcultural festivalheld over 4 days in October. The festival includes music, drama, literary games and quizzing.

Loans are easily available for such a prestigious college for every student and scholarships are given to poor and bright students.

Facility is of excelent quality and boys to girl ratio is 1:2. every sports present here with indoor outdoor sports grounds. Varous cultural activites organised here.

Hostel in iit kanpur are very good with all the facilities inside the campus different from the outside city. All the facilities are present including fooding and lodging in around 30000 per year. I rate them 10 out of 10.
