Likes
- The history of the college is very good. When it was first founded the college was known for core branches,ie mechanical/civil engineering etc. Recently the domination of cse is going on but the placements are a bit decent for a tier 3 college
- Placement is relatively good for the college in general, the highest was around 88 lpa and the average always lies between 4-5 lpa. The placement percentage is roughly 50-60% due to recession but it will go up in the forseen future. Overall it's gud.
- Faculty is experienced and gives quality advice on how to manage time and also gives skill lectures which help for the placement of the student.
Dislikes
- Sports is limited, only kabbadi,cricket,basketball,badminton,table tennis, chess, volleyball and carrom are there. No football
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Electrical and electronics engineering because I had a keen interest on electro magnetics and alternating magnetic fields. Nikola Tesla was my inspiration to take electrical and electronics engineering
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided only to toppers and highly talented individuals, mostly from Wipro, Infosys, TCS, cognizant, HCl,etc. most of the students apply of campus to get a better chance for internships and ppos
Placement Experience
Placements are alright. They vary from year to year, but the average always stands between 400000 to 500000 per year. The highest was 88lpa. I plan on writing gate and going for the research field in electrical engineering
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 1.15 lakh for my yearly tuition fee, but the college fee depends on what category you belong to, ie, sc/st pay zero fees. Other category gets roughly 30000 to 40000 in scholarship money by the college.
Campus Life
Campus life is basically non existent, like there is 2-3 fests every year but the social aspect of it lacks, they don't allow many things, it's like a school but with a little bit of freedom. Social life is non existent.
Admission
I applied for 67 colleges and this was my 7th priority and I got it in the first round, I applied for ugee but didn't qualify that and also I got vgnt but it was a clear choice Sri indu was better than that.
Faculty
Faculty are approachable, they are nice and kind They clear all kinds of doubts and also give career guidance.The exams are easy as long you study for them, the paper is very easy most of the time and is very scoring
Night Life
There is no gym, cafeteria is alright, the chicken biryani is good . Library consists of many books of various publications of many authors, fiction, non fiction, course material and many more are present in the library.
