A detailed Review of My college

The curriculum is totally based on the IPU university, so the whole thing is centralised . If one thing is done in one of the colleges it is also taught in other colleges of the university which are following their rules . The course need to introduce more modern languages like python to the advance level . there is no mention of python language in 1st year and even 2nd year . C is taught to 1st year students . the frequency of the exams is pretty much good , 2 exams in a semester is very good .

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and the average package is aroung 7-8 lpa . The companies like TCS , Infosis , Microsoft ,L&T , HCL , SONY , DELL , IBM visits the college . highest package is aroung 15-20 lpa on compus placement . I plan to get a high paid job off campus , or do MBA from any top college .

1st year 1,55,500 I paid which includes the tution fees , registrations fees and admission fees etc. 2nd year will be paying 1,37,900 my batchmates also spend same amount of money in fees from different categories like SC, ST but the students from management quota need to pay some additional charges some times . As such no scholarships are provided by college but they get you to the govt. portal to get the scholarship on the basis of other grounds like from specific state or any specific category .

They have good fests in the college like dandiya night and some more . but when you first enter the college there are so many events , like you will never get bored by taking just classes . So many societies are there and they are so much active and engage students with them . There are dance socities , singing , sports , anchoring , media house , poetry , debating , stand up comedy society etc. every society conduts their own events too , which are so much entertaining . Campus size is small , like its about 7-8 acres only as compared to other colleges . College do not have AC so a problem for summer seasons , but teachers do co-operate with students for that

I applied to other colleges like , DTU , NSUT , SRM , VIT . so I was getting biotech branch in both DTU and NSUT with my jee rank in the spot round . but the thing was I got confused btw the branch and college preference . I thought that I will take biotech in these top colleges and then work on my programming skills there , but my elder brothers suggested me that taking a very much lower branch in top college is not that much worth it and when you are so much interested in computers . So I left these 2 options , coming to the SRM and VIT both are private colleges I was getting cse in both SRM chennai and ghaziabad and also cse in VIT vellore but in cat 5 . so SRM ghaziabad is not that good and chennai branch is so much expensive . VIT with cat 5 is also much expensive and my parents would not allow me to go that much far from home with that much high fees when I have the option for govt. universities college with just 1.5 lakh per year fees with almost the same placement and near my home . It is 20 km away and takes 1 hr from public transport to reach there .

Faculty are pretty much well qualified , like the professors are graduated/post graduated from colleges like IITs and are highly qualified in their field . Some of them are pretty much comfortable with students that you can approch to them any time and they also hear to the demands of the students , but some are little bit strict but not too much . Mr. Yashpal is our faculty for Manufacturing process and he is very much chill with students . they usually have 2 main exams in a semester , 1 mid sem and the end sem . but some times they also do have 2nd mid sem but this time it was cancelled and instead assignments were given on the place of that .

There is canteen wher students hang out after classes , they have very much good and affordable menu with much items and very much less price . Library is there which have some quite area and the other section with some computers , but the specifications of those computers are not up to the mark , they need to be upgraded . There are no hostel in the college . Students can enter any time in the college and leave as per their convenience . Near college we need to go kashmiri gate metro station from where you can go to CP or other nearby places . The locality is not that much safe to roam around at night , but If you are not alone and there is any event that night so Its not a problem , the college is near the main road and highway .
