Abes Engineering Experience

The course curriculum is same as the other engineering colleges of india have, that is utterly outdated. These courses don't prepare students for the real life work rather they are mostly to cramp and just pass the exam. The frequency of exams are normal, a gap of 1 month is provided after every sessional test. The difficulty is above average .

The internships are provided here by various companies that include simplifi labs, synopsys, tata consultancy services, wipro, acccenture, etc. The projects are mainly focused on the full stack development and web3 is also there.

College students are eligible from 7th semesters for campus placement. Majorly mass recuriters comapny visites the campus which involves TCS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, WIPRO, etc.Approximately 350 companies visit here for recuritement and approx 1900 offers are made. The hghest package was of 50 lpa and average package is of 6lpa. 90 % of students are gets placed.My plan after getting the degree is to find a good job in IT industry.

The first year fees i paid was 1,33,600 at the time of admission. This fees didn't involved the extra uniform fees which was approx 9500/-. Other than this students have to pay 7500/- examination fees yearly to AKTU University. The fees of my batchmates are same except those who took admission under fee waiver seats.The fee waiver students pay veryless fees in comparison to others (like approx 30,000/- instead of 1,33,600/-). UP GOVERNMENT SCHLORSHIPS is filled by many students yearly which pay approx 55,000/- to non-hostellers and 65,000/- to hostellers.

Annual fests like UTSAV and BOLLYWOOD DAYS are held for cultural festivals and ENIGMA and PRAGYAAN fests are held for technical fests. A wide range of book are availabe in library for students. They can easily get it issue without any charge and return it on time.The facilities are good here and projectors are provide in every class rooms for presentation and ppt reading. Sports are there in college but not encouraged enough.Anti-ragging committes are there to prevent any ragging.

I applied to other colleges in my area but due to a very slight high cutoff for my desired branch (Computer science and engineering) , i couldn't gone there. These colleges are mainly AKGEC and KITE. The admission process involves applying at aktu or uptu website. Then you have to pay 20000 when a seat is alloted to you and from the options of freeze, float or slide you have to chose one.Cutoff are generally above 85 percentile of jee mains for CSE branch.Overall experience was smooth and good.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:70. The faculty really helps the students in clearing the doubts. Most english and math facilities are good in nature. While, some of the facilities can be very rude for no reason. they try to show their dominance on barely 19-20 years old students. Their are three Sessional tests in individual semesters which makes the 50% of your internal marks. The best 2 out of 3 marks of your ST(Sessional test) is considered.Approximately 70-80% students paas in the exam but the main exam which is of 70 marks tends to held at another college. The checking of this exams are way tough or you can say stupid. The teacher fails anyone there, doesn't matter whether your answers are right or not.

The favourite hangout area in the campus is college ground. The cafeterias are good here and library timing are 9 am to 8 pm . The locality outside the campus is very good for roaming and walking at night. As the college is situated in city and very near to highways and main roads, safety is not a issue here.
