Likes
- College is easily accessible. Hostel is good in standard. Campus is neat and clean.
- Faculties are good at teaching and support. Their method of teaching and care are way too impressive.
- Lecture hall is very bad . There is no air conditioned lecture hall in the college. Lectures in the Summer season feels like hell. Even the govt colleges have air conditioned lecture halls and good auditorium.
Dislikes
- Their rules are way too heavy. Certainly lack freedom for boys and girls. Entry to hostels is permitted up to 6 pm only . Programs are very low. The management gives nothing to the rights of the students. Management is very pathetic.
- Since we can't go out of hostel after 6 pm , campus life is not much good. Class hours are from 8 am to 4 pm . We barely get 2 hours free time in college excluding the break. After that we have to rush to hostel before 6 pm
- Infrastructure is not good. Hostel food is bad, need much improvement. Roads and ways are very pathetic. Campus is not nature friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
The University really has to work on the curriculum . It's a heavy burden for the students. Every student gets 4 chances to clear an exam in which 1 university regular and 1 SAY. If they fail to clear the exam ,they can appear after 1 year for the same pattern. Those who failed to clear the exam after 4 chances will be terminated from the course. There will be theory and practical examination on each subject. In which we have to secure 50 % to clear the exam. After 1st year students will be attending clinical sections and classes
Internships Opportunities
1 year internship mandatory that is provided by the college in the hospital. Stipend is very low comparing to government colleges. A prior payment has to be payed to the college before the onset of the internship period. Any deficit in the duty will cut the stipend and result in extra working hours. Stipend amount is very low according to the work.
Fees and Financial Aid
Despite the tuition fee there is a special fee which they collect from all Students without considering reservations and all. They collect extra money on the behalf of increasing charges of goods and all. They also collect money for id cards , uniforms,records etc..
Campus Life
Campus life is too bad . No freedom. This course is a heavy burden to the students. And college supports very minimal activities to relieve the stress. There will be arts and sports mainly and an onam celebration. The elite program of our college is convocation day which is funded by the graduates. Concert only happens on this specific day.
Hostel Facilities
Each hostel room is shared by 3 people. They will be provided with a bed and table for each . Attached bathroom for all rooms. The ground floor comprises a mess hall and a badminton court with minor damages. Food is not very great and quantity also. Every student has to pay a penalty amount every year if they want to move out of the hostel.
Admission
Admission to college is based on NEET score and ranking given by NTA. Other colleges are way better than this college on the basis of freedom, entertainment, extracurricular activities, programs. The support from the college is also not good compared to other colleges.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are good. Their method of teaching is interesting . Some of the faculties are not good . Most of the departments have enough facilities. Many students fail to clear the exam which is mainly due to toughness of course .
Night Life
There is no night in our college. Our campus life ends at 6 pm . After that we will be locked inside our hostels. We have to inform higher authorities even in the case of emergencies to go out. There are no hangout places on campus. The gym is very pathetic without proper equipment and maintenance. In public places , men and women shouldn't be seen together. The library opens at 9 am up to 7 pm .
