Wonderful experience

The college management, both academics, and hostels are good and one can have a good time during their course completion.

The course curriculum is good for most of the courses and it is changed from time to time as per the demand of the time based on the industry and market research. There is a huge scope for the research work and the enthusiasm for the research related work of the student is encouraged by the system and academics.

Placements are pretty well. Computer science and IT are the luckiest branches while other branches have good opportunities too. But the student intake in some branches is too high that increases the level of the competition.

University gives only the vacation. Ther are no too many celebrations by the university administration officially, but we have a number of student chapters and clubs. Here are tech fest and cultural fest which are the national level fests during a year.

There are two categories of courses. The difference is not so high but around 20-30 k for the tuition fees for a year. Minimum tuition fee is 1,63,000 for one year of engineering and mess, hostel other expenses are excluded from it. Hostel fees are according to the type of rooms. Six-bed non-ac is the cheapest and single bed ac room is the costliest room.

I opted for the student loan and the process general ass per the bank's norms. University also provides the facility.

VIT provides all the facilities both in academic and extracurricular fields. There is a running track, stadium, basketball courts, and many others. Labs are also well maintained and with recent technologies. Only the thing is sports facilities are some time need to be paid.

Hostel facilities are very good and every student like it too. There are many blocks. Male and female hostels are far and at different locations so no worry for the parents. Retd. army persons are the guards for the men's hostel and they are supportive of hostelers and good in nature.

There is a separate department that deals with alumni and issues related to them. There is a facebook group too and one can easily contact through email and contact no.

I wrote the VITEEE exam which is nothing but the entrance exam. After one month of the exam, the result was declared and only the rank was declared not the marks scored by the student. The counseling was scheduled as per the ranks. At the time of counseling, we have to submit DDs.

It varies from one person to another. Most faculties are well qualified and are doing great work in their related domains. Some are good at teaching and some are excellent. Some try to be very strict. Overall, VIT gives the facility to select the faculty from whom the student wants to take classes for the whole semester.
