Dibrugarh University

I am very interested in music so I choose this course and decided to study in university.because it makes me happy. The curriculum prepares me wisely in the field of singing . They need to introduce modern music to our course the exams are conducted between 2 to 3 months . And the exam is not difficult if you have proper knowledge about the course.

The admission fees is 15000 per annum in bachelor of performing arts..my specialization is vocal.. there's no semester fees in our class..the exam form fillup fees 1750. There's no scholarship offered by our university. In other subjects admission fees varies from 5000-50000

There are many technical and annual events organised by our university and also our state festival bihu , diwali , Holi etc are celebrated in our university. The University versity week is most important annual events and anazori is another disco night event of our university. The classrooms are well equipped with modern amenities. The library is quite good but there's lack in excess of books. It has access to several journal sites. There are many extra curricular activities offered by our university. Also I see some students clubs.

The hostel rooms has a table , a chair , a bed and fans and wardrobe and storage unit. It has all the needed facilities..there is also 24*7 wifi connection in our hostel . I didn't apply for other colleges or universities for my course..I only selected Dibrugarh University because it has a well reputation in our state and it provides all the needed field for my academic improvement. The admission process of our university is mainly based on the entrance exam of our university. It is a 100 marks exam Carrying 0.25 negative marks for each question.

There is a very good faculty -to-student ratio provided by our university. The relationship between faculty and students are quite good as they value us as a person. I like all of the faculty members except one or two.because they are arrogant in nature . There are two in sem exam each carrying 10 marks each paper and 1 end sem exam carrying 100 marks each paper.

I usually don't prefer to go for night hangout so I don't have knowledge about this things..the gym has all the modern equipments for exercise and also we have indoor sport stadium . The hostel in time is 9 pm and University gate is open 24/7 . The locality of this area quir safe for roam around a night but after 10 pm it is not safe anymore
