Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosed the course computer science because it is one of the highest demaing course among all, and coming to my college,they provide better coding knowlege as a part of subject and we get to learn lot about coding

Internships Opportunities

Interships are available within campus during the 3rd year of the course, we can opt for the internships within the campus and can be done from our campus also,but doing from our campus is way too better than its alternatw

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year through kcet admissions,we need to pay kea fees that is 1 lakh 7 thousand and later in college we need to pay around 3,500 for the admission,and later years we need to pay 1,05,000 yearly as feess,total for 4 years we have to pay around 4 lakhs and 25 thousand

Campus Life

Campus life is too good and can get lots of events though clubs and all,the infrastructure of the college is well maintained ,overall, the campus is good and one can get to know many things and can learn lot of new things

Admission

I have opted to this college because according to my kcet rank, I was getting cse course at this college ,I had applied for cse in ms ramaiah,but due to my low scores I didn't got that opportunity and came into this one ,the admission process of this college is so complicated

Faculty

Facutly is of average level, we need to be more active in class hours and should have ability to study own and not depending on them,exams are held once in a month and total of three internals among which the best of two are considered for the finals

Night Life

If we stay in hostels, we need to report into them before 9:30,there are many canteens,cafetorias within the campus of the college,but closes after the college hours,there is well maintained library which also closes at evening 6

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Hence the reason for choosing it..Admission process is throgh competetive exams or management quota.Competetive exams taken are COMEDK and KCET...the cutoff ranks again depend on the branch but go as low as 2000 for CS and related branches and upto 50000 for Civil and others..it can go even higher if reservation applied)...Read More

Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference. The admission process is easy not much hectic. They will provide all the procedure required for admission. They even have their own mail system, they provide college mail id to all the students.
