- Here you get exposure to many national level competitions like SIH, eYRC, Manthan etc
- Since it is present in bengaluru urban region, so you get exposure to many companies for internship
- There are many lab availabilities for different departments
Dislikes
- There's minimum of 75% attendance criteria
- Assignments will be given after every exam, which has to be written in assignment book
- Campus size is very small hence reducing your exposure
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course, so I gonna write my review about that course. You gonna be exposed to different aspects like DSA, DBMS, Cloud, NLP etc. but the problem that you gonna face is, you will be exposed to Data Science in 7th sem which is too late to start with
Placement Experience
Students starts to apply for placements from end of 6th semester however you have to do one month internship at the end of 4th semester. Currently the highest package offered is 30lpa and average package of college is 6 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Course duration: 4 years Category: General Total Tution fee paid: 4,00,000 Total lab fee paid: 80,000 Exam fee of 1800 has to be paid every semester which will be equal to 14,400 This fee structure will be followed if you are joining through KCET
Campus Life
The name of fest is CULTURA which will be held once every year. There's vast numbers of books available in libraries of every domain. Different state level competitions in which all VTU affiliated college participates will be held every year.
Admission
I got seats in various colleges like Kalinga, VIT chennai but i decided to go for this college because of the exposure that this college provides. It's situated in bengaluru thus you can easily apply for offline internships.
Faculty
The class size will be of 65-70 students. The teachers are easily approachable and very friendly. The lab attendes are very helpful and you can try new things in physics or chemistry labs. However there are few faculties who are very strict and gonna cut your marks in assignment even if you are one day late. You will get assigned with a faculty who will be your mentor for four years, you can contact him for every problem that you face. There gonna be 3 internal assessment and one final exam every semester.
Night Life
There's no gym availability. There's a canteen where you can get meal easily. The place is situated in main urban region so you can easily get access to polar bear, dominos, kfc etc. . College timings will be from 8am to 4pm in first year however later it gets reduced till 1pm
