Likes
- The faculty here are very friendly and supportive and thrive to create a better understanding amongst students.
- The library here is very well versed. There are books available for every subject there is.
- There are very good sports and co-curricular activities including conferences and everything.
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and there is almost no campus life as we have to share the campus with the children of school
- There are actions taken on very small incidents and it is reallt a hassle to tackle those incidents.
- Laboratory equipments are not enough. As a result of which we are unable to gather enough experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have had interest in medicines since childhood and my father is in pharmaceuticals as well so that was a primary aspect for choosing this course. The curriculum prepares us very well for real life applications and we are taught everything we need for our practical knowledge. I don't feel there is a lot of room for improvement but the faculty can be a little better. Exams are arranged at a timely schedule and i feel it's quiet on the lower end in terms of difficulty level
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 57000 rupees per year or 28500 per semester. The total fees include everything as in the tuition fees, caution fees, admission fee and everything. There is no difference of fees based on category. All my batchmates have the same fees as I. Scholarships are available based on the marks obtained in board exams and Gujcet. These are based on merit
Campus Life
There is no annual function organised here as such, there are celebrations on festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi. Majority of books are available in the college librart and so are journals. There are air conditioners available in classrooms and there are digital boards as well. There is a regular organisation of sports day and there are a number of sports played including cricket, tug of war, volleyball and what not. There are no such social groups or clubs running in our college.
Admission
I actually didn't apply to many colleges and as I got acceptance from this college I decided to go there as it was really good in terms of grades. No I did not get any rejections from any other colleges. The admission process is quite simple, there is the process of form filling and there is admission based on merit listings, state board exams are acceptable for this particular course and it is the most preferred exam as well. The cutoffs are subjective based on the results that year. The admission experience was quite alright.
Faculty
The faculty is not enough as per the number of students. The faculty are a little uptight and strict. But they are still approacable easily. Well I don't like or dislike any faculty in particular as i believe it depends on the student more than the teacher how they want to study. There are 6 exams in a year there are 4 mid sem exams and 2 end sem exams. Therefore in total there are 6 examinations in a year.
Night Life
There is a cafeteria in front of our college building. There is a big library as well. There are no hostels available on campus, students are supposed to arrange for their accomodations themselves. Therefore there are no in timings. The most famous hangout place inside the hostel is the cafeteria right outside the building whereas for outside there are cafeterias available as well. The locality is very safe to roam around.
