Wonder years

The course i studied was BCom Corporate Secretaryship. That was a course which was introduced apart from BCom. It had high connectivity to ACS. The exams had gaps and was not difficult. We had study holidays.

I had an opportunity to work at Ponds company as a one month intern and had a viva voce exam after that. Gaining real time office experiece 24 years before was really exciting. Teachers guided us well to perform in the viva voce exam

Twenty five years before placements were not there but now i see lot of placement opportunities. We all had plans to do higher studies and was possible with the ug degree. Now I hear lot of big companies including Big 4 is hiring

Course fee was Rs 10000. No other charge was levied. Other dept fees was also very less. Presently lot of scholarships are available in the college. Also Management scholarship is also available. Merit based scholarship is also given.

I had fun during college times. Smriti during December, Pongal celebration during January, farewell during march are memorable. Sports was always given importance. March fast would be great attraction as every time departments would compete and win trophies

I was residing in Chromepet and hence this is the most preferred college being women's college. This college had good reputation and my relatives are alumni. The admission process was,simple. If we had obtained the cutoff mentioned, it was on merit

The faculty to student ratio is good. They were all very friendly and at the same time was strict on discipline. Nirmala mam was the person i liked the most. Her teaching was good. I had yearly pattern so every year we had 1 exam. The curriculum was relevant.

I did not enjoy night life before 25 years. But favorite spot was below trees inside campus. We had friends gangs always enjoying. It is safe to roam inside and outside campus even back 25 years. Overall life was cool
