Course Curriculum Overview
The course now more of conceptual based. One must be in love with the subject to score good marks. The faculty gives practical examples to make sure be relate to it in daily life. There are educational excursions that takes place for each batch.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships from the first semester itself. You can avail it all the time. It is mostly online but it is expected that you up look up for your own internships. There is a compulsory internship after the 5th Semester which you can take from the college.
Placement Experience
The college provides placements in good companies where the avg package is 7LPA, while the highest package is 15LPA. I will not recommend the college for other science subjects, but if you wish to pursue Economics and Commerce then Bhawanipur Education Society College will be a good choice.
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently at the time of admission I paid 28k but that is supposed to be reduced by a few thousands as this includes the admission fees and the one time fees as well. The fees per year is expected to increase by few percent which is decided by the adminstration. The classes are held on regular basis in the Economics department. The faculty is great. Also there are regular events in the college, which helps grow students skills in negotiations and on field experience!
Campus Life
The campus life is good. The sports arena, the turf is a place where students spend most of their time when classes are suspended. The college library provides a great range of books that help us dive more into the subject.
Admission
I gave the CUET UG-2024 exam, I was able to achieve good marks but could not make it to DU and BHU for a few marks. I got a chance in the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics University, Bengaluru but being too far away from home by family didn't allow me. At home I got this college, which is wonderful!
Faculty
The college have already adapted the NEP 2020 policy and is under the CCF system of Calcutta University. We at college feel at home with the faculty guiding us in each aspect. The students of the college are studying in universities abroad as well as other prestigious universities in India.
Night Life
The college is situated at the heart of Kolkata. In the month of December, the college hosts it's biggest fest in East India, UMANG. We enjoy every moment in the college. The canteen is always into a move.
