What Students Say

Likes

The library is nice and very spacious with lots of place to study for the students
The classrooms are very big and can easily accommodate all the students perfectly
The faculty is very good and helps us with our projects and study a lot

Dislikes

I don't like that the campus doesn't have a big open area
I don't like that the morning batch class timings as it's too early
I don't like that the canteen is quite small for such a big number of students

Course Curriculum Overview

I have been doing Bcom Hons which is course of 4 years and was earlier a 3 year course, but now u have to do it for 4 years to get the honours certificate, it's a great course if u see ur career in field of commerce and industry

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 380000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The per semester fee was 36000 for my second semester and it has been increased to 38000 for the third semester which in my opinion is slightly high but it varies for the various batches as the morning batch, which personally i have opted for is 38000 but other batches are slightly less, like the day and evening, with the evening being the least

Campus Life

The campus life is hreat as the college hosts many events and co curriculars activities including sports, dance, talent shows, singing, pulic speaking and what not. So the college provides a great exposure to a lot of things other than studying

Admission

I personally chose this college as i wanted to complete my Chartered Accountant exams along with completing my Bcom degree, as this college provides some relief in the attendance area it's a great college to select if you are looking forward to do CA

Faculty

The faculty is very good and the teaching methods they use are really brilliant, they use the smart board for great intellectual learning which indirectly enhances the learning procedure and helps the students to retain the knowledge for a longer period of time.

Night Life

The library is a great place if u are looking for a quality study time and there are really nice cafes and restaurants near our college for recreation. Overall the college has a nice and decent atmosphere surrounding it

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
